Let me first introduce myself; hello, I'm Daan, a 16-year old guy from Holland.
Yesterday I was with a friend of mine at the the beach, and we were just throwing with a football, and there were these two girls who kept looking at us, and made eyecontact. Bad thing: they were sisters, and were with their two little sisters and parents there. The moment we left, they left too, and the too girls walked straight behind us. So i looked at them (pretty obvious), and my friend said:"Dude, that was pretty obvious". So i said "I can do better", so I turned around, walked towards them and said "Hi". (First time i overcame my AA). Then, happy with my succes, I asked their phonenumbers, which was pretty stupid. They said no, their parents came and looked very angry at me, so we just walked away.

What I learned:
* Don't approach girls when they're with parents.
* Don't hurry the number close.

But that's what I thought about it. Every comment of you guys is very welcome!

Good that you got over your AA dude, but never open to a girl with'hi' unless you use an interesting opener to back it up with. If not you'll come across as just another boring guy. And Never rush a number, you must prove that you are the Alpha Male and that you are interesting and funny first! Remember you are the prize! Keep up the good work!!!! :3

Ha-ha this post is awesome, you didn't know any better than to ask for the number. You'll learn. To be honest it never took me more than 5 or 10 minutes to get a number. Numbers really aren't that important. Trust me, I've probably n-closed about 30 or 40 girls and haven't had many results. Numbers are only a way to keep in contact, not a stepping stone to sex. It took me forever to learn that . But that's a personal issue.

My advice is to ask for a girl’s number when you’re about to leave and want to keep in touch. Don’t ask for a number when she has to leave that’s usually how you get the “sorry I can’t give you my number,” line. If a girl does really have to leave before you use command language to get the number. "Hey I'll call you, number?" Then get the number, call her, program your number in her phone and go on about your business.

The whole approaching a family thing, I guess know what type of family to approach?? It's actually pretty cool to approach a family of grown people. Or the youngest people are in high school.

Families with a bunch of kids will get kind of defensive with their kids around. Good parents don't trust random strangers coming up to them and their kids. It doesn't mean this is impossible; it just takes a high level of skill. I've actually seen some field reports on the old forum I was on and a guy did close a lot of girls in front of their entire families, takes skill though.
