All my friends are taken, its amazing not even one friend who is single and who is willing to serve as a wing. So I decided to go sarging by myself after reading some material (The game, the MM book) and... I've learned that going out there alone is kinda weird , but once you get use to it - its kinda fun! I can't believe I've waited 27 years to do that!
Anyway, here are the things I learned during these sessions:
1 - AA is overrated. After the first approach, the other are much easier to perform. However, The thing that is the most difficult to overcome is the thought that everyone in the club / pub thinks you're a loser since you came alone. I always tried to walk with a purpose around the pub (it was a small one!) and tried not to stand alone in some corner. But still, I found it very difficult to overcome this state of mind.
2 - Asking for directions (on the street) is not a good opener, unless you have another story stacked , to put a few minutes after. Girls will just tell you blow you off pretty quickly.
3 - a 2-set is the hardest to develop. I had a good conversation with an HB 8 in a 2 set and her friend pulled her off. I guess I should have invested more time in the entire

Anyway, I'm writing a blog about my whole process. I find that it gives me strength and motivation to go on (Yesterday, I almost chickened out in the beginning , but then I thought about how stupid I would look writing about it in my blog) If anyone here also shares his experiences in some sort (blog, etc..) I'll be more than happy to visit and read all about it.

Thanks guys!

Koko. [/list]

I know what you mean. I am in the same situation. All my friends are taken. Luckily I found some new wings on some lair. But going out alone isn't always that bad. In the last 3 months I have gone out alone twice. Not for a long time. The first time I went out for 45 minutes, second time for an hour. In both occasions I got approached by a woman. When I am out with friends or wings this doesn't really happen to me.

I am not saying that you will always get approached if you go out alone. Maybe I was just lucky. But the fact that I got approached twice means that girls didn't think I was a loser because I was there with no friends. I think it depends on how you think about it yourself. If you think you are a loser because you are alone, you will send of "I am a loser" signal and everyone will think you are a loser. If you are alone but feel great about yourself and you are calm and collected, you will give of a different vibe and people will think you are cool, despite being alone.

You are completely right, and that's the state of mind that is the hardest (at least for me..) to overcome. I've never gone out by myself before and where I come from it's not something people tend to do. And still, I think you are right about the vibe thing
