I went out last night to the coolest place in town.
Full of HBs and plenty of naturals to compete with.
Young crowd around 20ish.

And I left my game at home.
I failed to find material to relate with friends of friends I was introduced to.
I didn't do any FTCs, I didn't escalate kino, I didn't body-rock or anything.
And the only times I managed to open conversation with a couple of girls, vulture interrups stepped in and ruined the sets.

Very disappointing

I am 28 but look much younger than my age, which really works to my advantage with girls usually.
I however am out of touch with the TV and references they bring up, and it exposes me as an outsider.
Any peacocking i do just amplifies my differences.

Any advice?

I have since been to the same place, in nearly the same circumstance, with just a little bit more social proof, and had a fantastic night!

It seems it's all a matter of the frame you go out with.

I just need some system to be getting myself in the mode.
