I've been doing a bit of online dating of late.
I'm good with words, and find it easy to make women laugh with funny emails etc.

I went out on a date with a girl i met online last night.
Before the date she said she would be driving as she was up early the next day to go shopping with her sister. (Maybe true, maybe not)

When i met her i was taken aback as her profile pic didn't do her justice (shes about a 8.5/9).
We went into a bar and both admitted to being nervous (which kindof broke the ice)
She was driving, so not drinking so i new i had to keep my alcohol consumption in check.

Anyway, we got talking and it was going fine.
She talks a lot (mainly about herself)
I would describe myself as being on the side of 'deep and sensitive',
also a bit shy, which i'm struggling to overcome.
The downside of having this personality is that i find smalltalk
very hard to cope with. I'm a good listener though.
She was obviously high energy so i switched on my quirkey
side and had her laughing a bit.

I recommended going to a different bar with live music.
There were some couches/sofas which we took there and we
were getting on well enough.
I used to be into the whole new age scene so i brought this up and had her attention caught. (women love this stuff)
It was all going well until the band came on and it was blaring
so we went next door to another pub.

Heres where it all got a bit odd.. In this new pub there was also a band,
a good SPAM but a bit too loud to handle a conversation..
I suggested going across the road to another bar to which
she responded with a resounding 'NO'.
It turns out her ex works there, so she was talking about him for a bit.
At this stage the band were really noisy and conversation was being stifled.
She suggested we leave after the next drink.

So we leave and i walk her to her car.. I jokingly say 'So how'd i do?'
She says 'yeah, it went well, we were chatting away'.
We get to the car..
and she offers me the cheek to kiss..

Boom!

This is the kiss of death from what i can see.
I mumble something about 'will be in touch' and scuttle off into the night.

Being offered the cheek to kiss is never a good thing right?

The date had peaks and valleys where my game was concerned.
Think i lost her towards the end..

Thoughts?

you could've make it special... make your every move slow and the moment slow... and just.... gradually escalate... put your hands on her face... brush of her hair... and then go for the kiss... a slow... passionate one...

dont ask her how you did, your in charge here my man. It should be the opposite, you should be saying something like "you did alright for the first date haha." it can be put in a way that would be cocky funny.

The other thing you did wrong was LET HER TALK ABOUT HER EX. AS SOON AS SHE BRINGS HIM UP YOU HAVE TO SNIP THE CONVERSATION AND TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE

o ya. And girls will give you the cheek if you don't have enough attraction. THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU'VE LOST. They find persistence attractive not desperation. you could be making out with her 3 minutes later if you say the right stuff & of course don't speak to fast.
