I'm kinda new at this, so this story may strike you as totally foolish and it certainly is.

My girlfriend invited me to a friend of her's birthday party yesterday night. So I dress up, meet up with some friends and arrive there late. I won't discuss here my LTR with my current girlfriend, just saying it is complicated enough so that I need to make her jalous to keep a balance. The party looked great and there was plenty of HBs, so I walked in thinking "ok, let's game".

I quickly enough got the attention of a girl, not the one I was aiming at first but a worthy target nonetheless. I guess it was because I was in a two-set and I payed compliments to the other girl (with bf) for her dancing. The one I ignored started asking me personnal questions and gave me IOIs. i was like "good, target acquired, let's build up". I left them to get some drinks and spend some times with my friends.

Later on, as she passed by I teased her and started conversation. it went on for some times, including studies, how do you know such and such, what she though of paris (we had similar opinion, good for me). i playfully eluded her questions, poured her drinks, teased her a bit (I'm not very confident with negs, really). I really had a nice feeling about her.

I left her again to get some apricots and when i came back another guy was trying to seduce her. She seemed bored, so I didn't bother. I smiled at her from afar, she smiled back and quickly evaded her pursuer and came to me. We started dancing, closer and closer, slowly escalating with more and more kino. She was ripe for a kiss close, that I chose to delay a bit just for the sake of building up. And then...

BACKSTAB !!! two female friends of my girlfriend came out of the blue and asked me if I knew where she was, disrupting the danse. Sly way to say "don't fuck up, asshole, your girlfriend is at the party, we have an eye on you".
guess I had it coming...

I was unsettled. My target couldn't have understood the exchange cause of the music, but she certainly suspected something was wrong. I apologized to her, saying I needed to go see my friends and I'ld come back. For the rest of the evening, she seemed upset and avoided eye contact. I guess somebody have told her I was taken. She left shortly afterwards, she passed by me without saying good bye.

Here I am. Even if that was fair game, I feel frustrated by the backstab. The objective of the evening was kiss close and number close. No idea what I would have done afterwards, doesn't matter.

Do you guys believe i blew up entirely with this girl ? Would she want to take up where we stopped if we met again ? I guess I could get her number from mutual acquaintances, but is it worth it ?

I don't what you did made any sense at all. When you said "I need to make her jealous to keep the balance", i presume that you know/think your gf is cheating on you. taking out revenge on your gf with another girl is not the answer at all.

you blew it with your gf but you have also blew it with this girl. you wont have a chance with this girl now because she realized that you came to the party with your girlfriend and that your a player who cannot commit to a relationship and is completely unfaithful. no point getting her number from mutual friends, they wont be willing to give it to you.

was it worth it? only you know the answer to that as you know the full nature of your present relationship with your gf. but what i can say is that PUAs do not use their power and skills to hurt people but to make people feel good about themselves and to become the men that women dream about. some people use pua to find the one woman they will love forever and some may use them to control women to their will and use them to fill up their empty lives. it's all about personal choice.

I feel that this is where guys get a bit confused.

The whole Idea behind The PUA life is to get the girl. If you have the girl then you dont need to be Sarging. Unless you want a string of random hookups, then break up with your girl and go sarge. Going to try get a K or F close when you have a girlfriend is stupid. Doing it at a party where she is or has friends there is even worse.

Decide what you want. a Girlfriend or some random hookups.

I also agree with the previous post, dont try use other chicks to make her jealous, that will never work. I think you need to spend some time in the relationship thread.
