I was at the store earlier today when I noticed that the cashier woman seemed like she needed someone to talk to (she was good looking too). So once I gathered my things I went up to her with a smile on my face and asked her how she was and she equally smiled and said she was fine and then she asked me how I was.

She asked for a membership card and I said "I have one but I'm too lazy to activate it", she giggled and replied "everyone is too lazy to activate it". She rang the purchase up, I accidently pulled too much cash out, said "oops", then gave the right amount to her. I said "HA! finally got it right!" she replied jokingly "At least you did something right", I acted like I was insulted and said "so how about this weather huh?" (she was laughing the whole time). She handed me the receipt and as she walked away I ask "What's your name?" and with lightning speed she turned and faced me again (I was in a little shock at her speed) and she told me. I smiled and said until next time! ( I had good body language and many IoIs from her constantly up to this point)

Then I said wait, I don't know if I can let that insult slide and said some other random stuff and wrote my phone number on a piece of paper and gave it to her. (Obviously I stopped getting IoI's and good body language after that)


Now my big questions are how could I properly escalate that? how could I possibly get her number?

Second she shit tested you and you failed.. When she said that a canned comment for a shit response can always be " Your Mom" ( said with a smile ).
