| Went out in the city for the first time in the city (I'm in Ireland) for the first time since I came across PU and I thought it would be a good chance to put what practice I got into good use.
Was the first time I managed any decent number of approaches without AA , I'm generally crippled by it , nothing really of note until the middle of the night and i got talking with this HB9 (who was part of our group) but who i'd previously never met .
reaver:Hi! How do you know (person whose birthday it was) . by the way, I'm reaver
HB9: something or other i forget , I'm xxxx .
reaver: *puts hand out to shake* HB9 accepts and i kiss her hand " pleased to meet you"
her HB5 mate breaks up the conversation and drags her off to somewhere or other.
At some point later on in the night HB9 gestures me over to dance and eventually comes over to my mates and I and pulls me out to the floor , and yet again HB5 gets stuck in along with a gay guy obstacle ( forgot to mention i do know HB5) , halting any potential progress just as we were getting started . So I went to the bar for a drink ( approached a two set of hb7s but they were having none of it , btw hb9 was way out of eyeshot)
I return to where my crowd were sitting and hb9 is there flanked by hb5 and gay dude so i just go back to talking to my friends until hb9 takes me to one side and asks me something i really cant remember( it wasnt important , along the lines of where is someone or other) and i finally get another good conversation going , but as luck would have it one of my own friends butts in , wasnt a cockblock he's in LTR for some other crap.
I finally get tired of it and try to get a mate of mine to wing for me , a good play on my part as i knew hb5 was interested but i was having no luck. After yet another eventless trip to the floor being blocked by hb5 and gay dude , we finally get to sit down and i use a kino trick i came up with , first I took her hand , noticed a squeeze( classic IOI)
reaver: do you trust me
hb9: yes
reaver : give me your hand
and i just do a couple of martial arts hand tricks i picked up and ask her do do them back , and she does one of her own which i picked up as a mirror , then the lad whose bday it was tried to do something similar to what I did , i gathered this was an attempted cb . She soon loses interest and i do more of my little tricks , and the conversation soon turns to phones( i forget how , oh yea she takes it out of her well filled top, thats not how but that did happen) and i playfully take it and just hold it in an open hand right in front of her , she takes it and as she takes my hand i take hers and kiss it .
Then basically i bottle the #close .When i got home my mates said they were shocked i didnt get the number , considering how well i was doing . I know how, i have no clue on how to isolate and go for the close.
