Background info
I was DJing at a mates birthday party wasn't a big party nice small social group, I knew all the attendants and I wasn't interested in attracting anyone there so I had a few drinks. Which then turned into a few to many. Then an old friend does the usual and invites an extra few females for some playing field.
The game was easy, opened with the girl I was interested in by simply occupying her seat and sparked a conversation with her friend she came back and we had the whole "your in my seat" conversation I threw in a few jokes made her laugh a bit and essentially had it in the bag from there on. She asked me for my number by this point I knew it was a done deal.
The situation
She texts me that night and the next day so I decided to invite her round to my place and have a "nice night". Unfortunatly she was not what I had remembered, it was a very real comedy movie moment. When you expect a 8 to be behind the door but are greated with a 5, you become very stunned. Though I must say she was a very lovely girl great heart knew what she wanted in life. Personality definetly near flawless, though needles to say I let this one slip through and let the night finish without any further closes.
What I learnt and for others out there
Don't drink to much unless you are seriosly not looking to pick up something that night or atleast get a second opinion from a friend or a wingman who works within your general standards. Saves a lot of awkward moments.
