Last night was my second straight Friday of going out in the field to accost women and must say that I crashed-n-burned on two approaches and missed out on a third. Overall I didn't feel threatened whatsoever by feelings of rejection, if anything it bred motivation to succeed - I'm starting to really warm up to this game. Here's some details about the approaches.

Location: Dave & Busters [Restaurant and Adult Arcade]
Target: Christine
Description: Christine and I share a mutual friend and it was my first time meeting her - all the work had already done since a comfort level was already established. We had a conversation where we learned that we're both foodies and then she started going on a rant about an ex-boyfriend, during a lull in the rant I said "How about we cut the unpleasantness and go play some games?"

She accepted but wanted more people in our group to come along, I was banking on that only us two would go play games. The strongest IOI I received was a bit of touching from her, all others were rather weak. Before we left I mentioned that I know of a great Peruvian restaurant and asked what would be the next steps to to treat her to a nice dinner. She responded by saying that she'd wanted to focus on her cosmetology school studies.

She accompanied us to our next location and my buddy and her hitted off quite well, I'd already given him the go ahead to accost her - sure enough he ended up number closing. I found the entire situation laughable.

Location: Flames and onto Old Wagon Saloon
Target: Jackie or Jacque [Spelling doesn't matter]
Description: Yet another friend of one of my close buds and by far my first true AFC moment so far. It was a total fail from step one, built a shoddy house of cards that fell apart at the end of the night. In hindsight trust your intuition and I knew from the onset it wasn't going to lead anywhere but I still pushed on through.

Location: Random Pizza Parlor
Target: Unknown Name
Description: It was last call (2am in CA), my group and I stopped at a pizza parlor for some grub to soak up the alcohol. While ordering two women walked in and I immediately made eye contact and smiled, they had a positive reaction. I took a seat next to my target, her friend had gone to the bathroom, I was in the midst of making something happen but she ended up getting sidetracked by other matters. Opportunity missed but a confidence builder.
