I was at the bar in a club, saw two girls (one 7, one 7.5) stood together (body language was begging to be opened). Started to walk past with two mates, as we got close I [so the girls could hear] said to one friend "how can you possibly say that?! It's clearly not cool!"
I then turned to the girls and said "I need a quick opinion, a friend's girlfriend kissed another girl while they were in a club, is that ok or no?"
The girls both basically said it's not. 7 had a bandana in her hair, I told her it didn't quite match her outfit (my attempt at a neg off the top of my head). Almost staight away I asked their names so 7 had no time to respond. I had a drink in each hand, so 7.5 said "I clearly can't shake your hand, so I'll just rub your arm." 7 quickly did the same.
7.5 was called Laura, 7 was called Stacey. I turned to 7.5 and said (with a cheeky smile) "my ex-girlfriend was called Laura, I'm afraid I can only talk to your friend now."
At this point I put my back to 7.5; she immediately kino'd me and tried to get back into the conversation.
Next, their friend (6/10 at best) joined the conversation. All three were pretty much hooked on what I was saying. I was only fluffing about uni courses etc.
It's here that I get stuck. My target was obviously the 7.5, and I could tell she was into me (all three were fighting for my attention), but I couldn't figure out a way to isolate 7.5. In the end I told them I had left my friends and needed to find them (in my head a last minute false time constraint that I know I should have used much earlier on in the sarge). I said I hoped I would bump into them later on.
As soon as I walked away I knew I had messed up (the club was huge and it was unlikely I would run into the girls again).
So basically I want to know the best way to isolate the target in this sort of situation, and where to go from there.
This is my first field report so any advice is much appreciated!
Thanks all.

Nice!
Where you standing near them while they sat down? You could have grabbed her hand and have her follow you to an empty stool near by. Just a thought... _________________ Keep people off-balance and in the dark by never revealing the purpose behind your actions. - Robert Greene

I think part of the problem is that my two friends walked off, so I was working the set alone. A wingman would have made it far easier.
I thought about going for the 'brute force' approach of just taking her to a bar stool or whatever but it somehow didn't feel right (possibly because I'd only been talking to her for a few minutes) so decided not to.
Thanks for the reply mate.
