Lately I've been kind of busy so I don't have much time to read the forums, but I go out a lot and I'm having fun, my life is getting more interesting every day and it makes it a lot easier to interact with people. My social circle is growing and people wanna hang out with me.
Even though I haven't closed anyone yet my interaction with girls is slowly getting better. I'm trying to take it one step at the time. I'm still not very good at opening but it will come as I build more confidence.
so far I've managed to get a friends cousin, who lives out of state, interested and we started talking on the phone a lot. another married woman has been giving me some strong IOI's but I have no intentions in pursuing that.

yesterday I had interesting night, went out to the club with some friends. one of my friends was playing a drum, the other left to another club so I was basically left alone in a club. my friend who was performing gave me some social proof and I had a really hot girl who was dancing alone nearby approach me asking what's up. I'm not really a good dancer so I just exchanged few words with her before she lost interest. Then I had a nice chat on several occasions with a female bartender (got some free drinks as well), little chat hare and there with some random people and when my friend was done performing we decided to go to another club meet with the rest of the crew.

when we arrived we had really good social proof, he started playing there too, I just got tipsy enough to start dancing and having fun with my friends. I wasn't even looking to pick up any girls, I just enjoyed myself. Then I caught this girl looking at me and I moved towards her and started dancing with her, looking her straight into eyes without saying a word. when she turned around to go to her friends I just let her go and went back to my friends. My friend introduced me to another girl he just met and I talked to her for a while. Then the girl I danced with came looking for me again, we danced a little bit more, then I danced with her other two girl friends, then I went back to my friends again. I'm not sure if I did it right, but that was my idea of push-pull. Third time I found her and we started dancing again, this time she asked me for my name, and we talked a bit while dancing. I let her go again and then when my friends decided to leave I found her again, this time I said "hi -her name- from -the place where she lives-". she acted surprised that I remembered all that about her and I joked that she probably doesn't remember my name (yeah i have a weird name). she admitted that she doesn't remember so I told her again and I asked her if she wanted to go to the after party with us. First she was like "yeah" but then looked towards her friends and changed her mind. few seconds later I learned why. her girl friend approached me and said "that guy over there is her brother and he is kinda overprotective so be careful with his sister". I was like "cool, I'll go meet her brother then" but her friend said it's not a good idea. I looked at my girl and told her I wanna meet her brother, but she was hesitant, so I just went over to her brother and introduced myself, putting my arm around him I wished him happy holidays and I had a little fluff talk. everything went surprisingly smooth, for all I know her brother could have kicked my ass for messing with his sister
anyway, I went back to her and she seemed impressed with what I just did but when I asked her for her number she looked back towards her brother and didn't say anything. I figured she doesn't wanna give it to me so I just hugged her and said I'm leaving, said bye to her girlfriend and as I was about to leave she just said "I'll see you next time". I looked her into her eyes, gave her a smile and left.

so the bottom line is, didn't close this one, I have no idea who her brother is and I really need no drama in my life. funny but this is the second time it's happening to me in last few weeks that I meet a girl and the brother sorta gets in the way. Last time I was also warned to be careful by girl's friend. I'm wondering what's the best way to deal with this kind of situation. I mean, I was just talking/dancing with those girls, I wasn't touching them inappropriately or anything. all this brother thing is just new to me as none of my ex girlfriends had brothers
any opinions or ideas?
