Hi

I was dancing at a club with some friends: 3 girls 2 gay guys. One of the girls told me that her friend (HB8) who I had not met before and hadn't talked to yet really liked me. I concurred based on my judgment of HB8's body language. The platonic friend forcible danced my ass over next to HB8. However, at that point I found trouble escalating. It was too loud to talk really, though I did manage to introduce my self and get a sip of her water. I put my arm around her a couple times and made eye contact, but it really wasn't the kind of scene where closer dancing (ie gross grinding or whatever) would be appropriate. It did seem like she liked me but I really wasn't getting direct obvious signals so in the end I just sort of gave up and danced with my other friends. It is possible that my game was distracted by the presence of a female friend who I had hooked up with before. I left with her and then went home alone.

So my question is: how did I fuck this up? I mean we were all drunk at a club dancing and I was told directly that the girl wanted me and there were no other straight guys in the group.

If someone could give advice on escalation when it's too loud to talk and more intimate kino is out of place, I would much appreciate it.

Best,
B.K.
