I'm super newb, so please feel free to make any possible observation.

So i went out to the mall, i see this girl, ok looking from a distance. I try to stick to the 3 seconds rule but i keep thinking way too much, so she goes aways. I wander around just checking my cell, i see her again, i try not to blew it this time. I sit next to her and open with "i have a female friend, i want to buy her clothes as a present" and she gives me suggestions of stores. I ask her where she bought her clotches, tell her she looks good on them. She smiles, and i found some truly disturbing dental work going on which cuts the mood strongly for me. I still ask her what is she doing, she tells me she might be going to watch a movie with someone. I end up the converstation right there, i thank her for the info and walk away. Not bad for a start, better than still be wandering around aimless. I do notice that when i sat next to her i kept my hands in my pocket for some reason, a bad habit i guess, working on fixing that.

Now, i have my eye on a cute girl working in a fast food joint, before going i see her talking a lot with some dude. He leaves and i approach with the following:

-I'm going to ask you 4 questions, and you will answer yes to all of them
She stares at me a little surprised, smiles a bit
-Are you bored of being here
-Yes i am!
-Would you like to be somewhere else?
-For sure, at home probably
-Are you tired of guys coming here to make small talk with you, like i'm doing?
-What? *giggles a bit* Well, not really, i mean...
-Like the guy who was here before, you know
-Oh, he's a friend
(oh shi-, ok, let's see)
-Well, seems to me you get plenty of guys here to talk to you, you're the best looking girl i have seen working here by far
*she sort of disconnects from the talk a bit, doesn't have any particular reaction
-Well, you and another girl i saw in another restaurant near here
*no reaction, i'm having some trouble to come up with a good follow*
-So, about the four question
-Yes?
-What about us going out?
-Oh, i have a boyfriend
-It's ok, we can take him along, i don't mind
-What? hahaha* a wide open laugh and smile come to her face
At that moment some friend of her arrives and starts talking to her, i sort of stand there, looking somewhere else. My nerves sort of betray me for a brief moment and i do some weird shake movement with my hand, but it's quick and doesn't go too far. They finally finish talking.*
-Oh well, thanks for being honest.
-Why i wouldn't be? No reason to lie you about having a boyfriend
-Anyway, my name is blabla, and yours?* i extend my hand*
-My name is blabla *handshake returned, she is smiling*
-Well, see ya!

Not bad for a first day, better than nothing for sure. That nervous shake i got thankfully doesn't come too often. Happens to me sometimes on certain situations where i feel some social stress, my body sort of betrays me at moments, but again, i recovered quickly even that she noticed. I felt it was good to say goodbye to the last chick in the way i did, instead of just walking away without closing the entire conversation. Looking foward for the feedback.

So, pretty crappy day, i went to my usual place but i see nothing that picks my interest. I go somewhere else and i see a good looking petite girl. I once more hesitated a bit too much, it took me a couple of minutes to finally go for it. She was sitting alone, checking her cellphone. As it usually happens i can't help to think she's waiting for someone. Anyway:

Me: Excuse me, can i ask you a question?
She: Sure
-Do you know any good place to eat or have coffee around here?
-Well, there's blablabla
-Ok, sounds good, can i ask you something else?
-Yes?
-Do you have any plans for today?
-Well (she smiles) i'm waiting for my boyfriend
-Oh, i see....
(a pause of some seconds, i frankly couldn't throw any snappy comeback)
Me: So, you work somewhere near?
She: yeah, over there
-Anyway, nice to meet you, my name is blabla (i extend hand for handshake)
-My name is blabla (handshake returned)
-Well, see ya

Well, i posted this in another topic already, but anyway:

After several days of having no luck whatsoever i approach girl sitting by herself in the mall, reading a book. She's sitting on a bench.

Me: Hey, can i ask you a question?
She: Sure
(i sit right next to her)
M: You see, i want to give something to a female friend as a gift, clothes in this case. Which place would you recommend to buy some?
S: Blablablabla
M: I see, you buy your clothes in those places?
S: Yes i do, i like this place and that one andblablabla
M: I see, don't want anything too fancy, but neither too cheap. Something casual.
S: Yeah, you can find clothes like those in the these stores
M: Sounds good (i give a quick look at his book, is a language book from a language i happen to know)
M: So, i see you're learning this, how are you doing?
S: Oh well, i'm reading this topic, i don't understand it very well
M: Let me see *she gives me the book, i start reading and translating at the same time. We talk about the subject. While she tries to give me an example of an exercise she asks for my name, and i ask for hers*
S: I think i got it now
M: Cool, so anyway, i gotta go now, but, if you have any doubts i could help you out. Give me your number so we can stay in touch.
S: Sure, my name is blablabla
*i type it on my cell*
S: and your number is?
M: blablabla
M: All right, cool, see ya later

I waited 3 days to send her a text message, the msg goes something like this: "hey, how are you doing? how are classes going" Sadly i got no response, but oh well. One woman less means several new options ahead. The entire conversation went pretty well i think, we made good eye contact, but if anything she looked a bit too "serious". Now, i don't have the habit of making them "smile" all the time, i don't feel it's necessary and many times i'm just not in that kind of mood. I guess she just didn't care for the whole thing, but then again, why giving me the phone? Oh well.

Not much action recently, i think i need to go to different locations. Anyway, in a cell phone store y approached a girl working there:

Me: I'm looking for a cell to give to a female friend as a gift.
She: We have this and thatblablabla
Me: You know, i don't want a model way too fancy, she has an habit of lossing her cellphones. I know several girls that loss their cellphones all the time, does that happen to you?
She: Oh no, i never loss anything
Me: So (after watching more models) let met ask you, if i was going to give you one of these as a gift, which one would you prefer?
She: Well, i like this oneblablabla
Me: You know what, i really have to go now, but now i have a good idea of what kind of model i might buy as the gift. Thanks for your help, what's your name?
She: My name isblablabla
Me: Thanks, see ya

As for the body language, as usual i made eye contact first thing first. She was smiling and was friendly, of course that's part of her job. That said, she was never bothered with the questions i made, the thing i did notice is that, while we hold good eye contact she kept moving yer eyes here and there, looking at other clients in the store i suppose. So i felt that she wasn't that focused into me, thus why i didn't went for the phone.
