This Saturday, my friend invited me to a party/shitty concert-type-thing at a local all-girls university (she is, obviously, a girl). I'm a college student, and new to the game; even though I've done a lot of reading, I haven't had much practice. For a beginner, I feel like I didn't do too bad, but I'm sure there are problems that I can fix for next time. Sorry for the long FR, but it's a lengthy story, hopefully not tl;dr.

We started at this room with about 30-40 people, most of which were women. It was me, my friend, my friend's boyfriend, and another girl. My target was this short-ish brunette (HB7). I was introduced to her friend, but opened both HB7 and her friend with a situational opener (some witty comment pertaining to the situation). We sat on the couch, then went downstairs to some other party. After we drank a bit more (she outdrank me, plus I like to be in control and I don't like taking shots) we went back up to her room. I was negging her like crazy in there. She was a Cubs fan, so besides being set up for obvious ridicule, I negged her about other things. Eventually, she was sitting on my lap, facing me. There was kino all over the place, but when I went for the kiss close, she didn't respond.

We went up to the concert, and danced there for a bit. She credited me for my dancing, but I responded with a sly neg. She laughed, and we danced more while she was rubbing her hands all over me. She suggested we go back to her room, so we went. Down there, again, keno was through the roof. However, this time, for some reason, I couldn't try to close. Something inside me was keeping me from going for it. This is an obvious problem. I kept negging, and kept with the keno, but I did a really shitty evolution/phase shift, and it cost me a potential PU. An expert could have closed here, I think.

She suggested we go see her friends, and at that point, I knew it was over. There was still keno, and we "shotgunned" a cigarette. She even kissed me later after I negged her about giving me a bad peck (she kissed my eye for christ's sake). However, I messed up somewhere, and it probably has to do with my terrible evolution/phase shift and my unwillingness to go for it.

I'm very open to criticism and suggestions for improvement. As a beginner, this is the best attempt I've had in a while. However, I want to get better, so I need suggestions. I'll sarge again this weekend so expect a better FR with more successful results if I get some good suggestions. Thanks a lot fellow artists!

jv4life, basic principle - reward for good, punish for bad behavior.

Remember, every single neg should make her or her friends laugh. You reverse roles, she was hunting you and you punished her by negging - this is wrong. She invited you to her room, you negged her and after that went for a kiss - "He is playing with me, he isn't serious"

What I would do (or I think I would):

Compliment her on her actions. At first you neg her, then you change your attitude (in the moment she is trying to get you).

Golden sentence "I thought you were just standard girl but now I can see that there is something in you that (whatever). What did you add to my drink?"

Some kino routine when she was sitting on your lap. Maybe followed by a bet "I bet I can kiss you before you would do it" or "Yesterday I learned how to kiss not touching a girl's lips. I'll show you. Close your eyes." or whatever.

Be careful with negs. Replace them with compliments when she wants to get you and from then use them only when it is safe. Show her some interest!
