| Fat guys can get chicks, but being fat IS a negative effect on your chances regardless of what anyone says especially all the women who pretend not to be superficial if your Huge, overweight, fat, a lil chubby - even if you have the confidence of jesus on cocaine you are having to overcome a hurdle, and believe you me the fatter you are the harder it is to get over.
When I was at uni I was a bit of a stud muffin and playboy, one day towards the end of my first degree I really badly fucked my lower back up playing rugby to the point I was in intense pain everyday, even on prescription, so I crashed badly ended up getting drunk and stoned everyday to ease the pain off, and with the combination of no excercise, calories from alcohol and the munchies from getting stoned I piled on a huge huge huge amount of weight and spent a few years as a fatty living online playing on the PC - one extreme to another, about five years ago I thought wtf am I doing and decided to loose the weight.
Now when you decide to do it, your NOT going on diet, you are deciding what you like more - looking thin and toned and feeling healthy or sitting on your arse eating donuts, chocolate and take out etc.
When you have decided which you prefer you DONT go on diet, like I said, you simply and PERMANENTLY change your lifestyle and eating habits, cut out most of the shit and eat a normal balanced meal and take up exercise, start off easy and build it up, get into a routine were you set aside 30 minutes for you to work out, I tend to go for a run after I wake up before going to work, since it's very hard for external issues to affect it (ie getting stuck in traffic after work and missing your run before dinner etc etc). I went from walking to jogging/walking intervals to jogging to running 30 mins every day and the weight came off, and I allowed myself nice stuff too, I didnt abstain since you can binge if you do that, I even got to the point when I didnt like chocolate, since I related it to being unhealthy and tired and fat!
If you really want to up the weightloss, do 2x 30 mins every day, control your calorie intake so that you are eating enough to live off without exercise, the exercise is the fat burner which cuts into the pounds hanging off your arse. As long as you get all the vitamins and shit you need to live, the energy deficit you create is taken off your stores, and you will go into SPAM - which is your body burning fat instead of carbs, cue slimming! If you obey this rule 99% of people will loose weight it's bullshit when they say 'oh it doesnt work' is because they cheat and binge on food or give up etc or dont do the exercise. Millions of people who say that are usually just lazy, there are not THAT many people in the western society with 'thyroid' problems lol. Once your down to your ideal weight you can eat a little more to cover the deficit, or exercise a little less you choose, I prefer to eat a lil more when I FEEL like it since I like keeping fit!
I lost 10 stone + change in 6 months this way and was going out clubbing, socialising and partying during this period. I am a confident guy even with the weight on, but I noticed a very evident correlation between my success and my weight loss. Sorry to burst this bubble, it does matter get on that treadmill guys!
