I went to a concert kind of thing last night which by the way was OVER sold. Anyways so me and a couple of buddies were waiting in line to get in and there were a two set behind me but wayyyy older den your average party goer, and a 5 set of girls in front of me. I could tell right away that the set in front of me were a bunch of snobby girls who think theyre the shit so i thought hmmm..this could be a chance to build some confidence or at least experiance major rejection so it didnt hurt as much the next time. So i over the shouldered open the two ladies behind me just to be social, luckily enough i got two STRONG iois by one of the ladies which i found really awkard. So that lifed my spirits a little. As the line moved on i somehow change the topic to ex girlfriends. So put my hands on two of the ladies in front of me and i opened them with the ex girlfriend shoebox routine. Only to my horror that not only did i studder when explaing the situation but once they answered they answered me and looked at me like i was retarded for asking such a dumb question, "how WOULDNT that be a problem!?!?!"...clearly i just stood there saying jus to keep the old memories. They ATE me alive and it didnt help that my friends were backing them up. The way i see it is i got hit hard wit a strong rejection and hopefully itl make me stronger next time.

p.s. sorry for the long read for whoever actually did read this, let me know what i can do to help myself besides my grammer.

So you opened with Kino? You also said they were in front of you, so did you totally blind side them from behind? I personally dont know the shoe box routine so I dont know what to say on that. Either way big props for opening multiple sets, and who gives a shit if they were bitchy? One thing i noticed was that if i use a "friend" as the guy with the ex GF issues it tends to be okay because then you arnt the one with the stuff, etc etc. Anyway props on the guts and good luck. There are 104938204932 other women out there!

yeah i did open with kino and yeah i did kind of blind side them because as they turned around they were both shocked and confused.....*kicksmyself*. I didnt know my mistakes were that obvious. Also i kind of let the conversation drag on i guess i didnt chagne the topic fast enough. great feedback thanks :D

Maybe next time kind of "bump" into them by mistake, or sort of cozy up next to them in the line to you are on more of an even level with them when speaking. Don't worry about any mistakes you made now, just be conscious about them next time. Trust me I'm new to this too so I make plenty of mistakes!
