2 days ago was my friends 21st birthday, and at the party was pudding wrestling. there was this HB 8 there and I decided that I may as well. so things started slow and we didnt talk much, but we made eye contact a lot. i then helped the girls carry down the pudding to the little pool. i start walking away when the girl and her friend start wrestling in the pudding, so i cannot help but watch. the second she sees me looking at her she runs at me and covers me in pudding. we wrestle around a bit and are constantly making intense eye contact.

at the bars last night, and she and I were taking shots (paying for ourselves) and then we go out to the dance floor (me, her, and 2 other girls). before i get out there 2 other guys start trying to dance with her and fail. i simply walk up, excuse myself (to the guys), look her in the eye (smiling) and she and i start dancing (grinding and all).

things are going well, and here is where I may have messed up. I was subtly going for the kiss a few times ( i would go 50% of the way and see her reaction... not much of one). we keep dancing and its getting hotter. and i just whisper in her ear "i really wanna kiss you right now". she smiles and says she cant, but keeps dancing with me.

Here is the thing, i know that she has kinda been hooking up with another guy, but decided I wouldnt let it bother me. i dont know where to go from here with her. im still going for other girls, but I feel like this can be a good learning experience for me. any advice?

Here is what killed your chances of kissing her: You asked/insinuated that you wanted to kiss her. Next time, when eye contact is good and your close, go for it man! Also, maybe you should have built a little rapport before moving in for the kiss.

do you think i should go for it again tonight? i have some material I can use in this situation (say hey but put all my effort on other girls, but make eye contact plenty... its worked in the past). it would still give me the possibility of others, but still have a chance at her.... or should i just bail and accept my loss?

why would you back off? She's into you. Keep pushing (within a reasonable manner) until you hit a wall. Its just for experience you really have nothing to lose
