Ok, Im 21, at University and Just got back from a first date with a girl I met a couple times on nights out and we'd previously made out a fair bit in bars/nightclubs.

She's quite a cool laid back girl, just turned 19 and she's a first year...probably like a HB 7. I usually go for hotter girls but she seems pretty cool and interesting so I thought I'd see how it goes.

I suggested we go into town so we could switch up bars easily, it would be a bit busier, and have music playing, but she said she has shit to do and didn't wanna be out to late, she has exams coming up so this is a legit reason.

This wasn't the best date, I felt a little awkward at first escalating kino, think it may just be me out of practice, been real busy with exams etc for the last 2 months, so not been dating much. So any advice criticism would be welcomed.

Date:We went to a bar on campus, it wasn't busy but wasn't dead so had an ok SPAM. I got there 5 mins late, but she wasn't there yet, I knew the barmaid so I started chatting to her and got myself a drink. (I think it always looks good to be chatting to somebody as they arrive, even better a hot girl). I kissed her on the cheek as she arrived and got in the first round of drinks.

We went and sat down, and just had some fluff talk for ten minutes, then I said we should go play pool, and teased her about how bad she'd be etc, then during the game there was a little kino, not much, still felt a bit awkward.

After pool we went sitting down, but this time on a couch so it would be easier to kino and go for a k-close...we chatting then I started teasing her about her sunburn and started kinoing from there, started playing with her hands and then she commented on how nice my nails where...(I have 'amazing' cuticles apparently haha). I could feel the K-Close coming as we played with each others hands etc

Then she was like lets go for pool again...we played, bit more touching, I was teasing how she was really only playing bad to set me up to be hustled next game, I tickled her abit and then we kissed a little, I pulled away first and was said it was late, we should probably make a move. I walked her home, we kissed a little...she gave me the old "I had a really great time tonight" which I teased her about for being so cliché we kissed some more then she went in and I walked round the corner, took a piss and walked home...

So obviously its on for a day 2 sometime, I just feel I should have escalated and gone for the k-close a lot sooner. I think this girl is alrite, but Im not seriously into her, maybe if she was up for some fun or just hanging out over the last month or so of term I'd be up for it.

Any advice on how I'd go about this? or anything I could have done differently on the date?
