Hey guys first time poster long time in field,

Last week i approached a 3 set with 2 '5's and a '8' (target), i used the opener 'are skinny jeans gay.....casue me and my friend are arguing over it' in mc donalds.

Then ran into a awkward pause then my wingman quickly came and saved me. This whole time i was winning over the friends first before the target. I then told them how my friend were going to a bar and had to go. As we got to the door my wingman told me how i should go back and get them to come.

So i did. With a few smooth lines i had them following us out the door. By this point the '5's were all over us. But the 8 wasnt interested at all! Depsite the negs and DHV's we were showing. She seemed to be a lot more interested in her phone and wouldnt put it away.

This was all on the way to the bar, once there the situation didnt change and the negs and DHV's werent influencing her at all. This WHOLE time she was on her phone texting...... The negs at one point were very blunt and not playful by the end. We were tryig everything to get her off her phone.

To sum up: We showed no interest in her and negs and DHV's were not helping, her phone seemed to be BIG obstacle! Im 17 and they'r 15, was age an issue for why the method wasnt working? And how can i get the mobile phone out of the way?
