Alright guys this is my first FR and i'm gonna keep it short:

Me and my mate went into the town centre (lincoln) having decided before hand that we were going to try a a few approaches. We are BOTH new to the game and so feedback would be extremely helpful. This has been our first attempt at day game and i found it a lot harder than night game (probs due to alcohol :) )

I had a target to make 10 approaches and my friend 5. We didn't make it anywhere near those numbers (AA is a bitch lol).

I approached a HB6 in a music store I think she was around 30. Convo went something like this;

me = Hey, I'm trying to get into this type of music (easy listening) I'm wondering what you'd recommend
HB = Oh, errm i'm not really into this music so i don't know
me = we'll if you had to pick anyone who would it be?
HB = *bla bla michael buble*
* her boy friend comes over and I act all AFC and ask him his opinion too, I then eject*

My second approach was a shop assistant in topman I used a opinion opener again and asked about my friends style:
me = excuse me, can i get your opinion on something? (I approached from behind so vocalised my presence --> hence excuse me)
HB = ok
me = ok so i need some advice about revamping my friends style *blah blah* wondered what you thought.
HB = well fashion is individual it kinda defines what you want to change into

* at this point she 'helped us' and pointed out several jeans and stuff that are in fashion. I made a few jokes and stuff about it along the way and built comfort. After my mate went to try stuff on the convo stopped. (I don't think I broke rapport)*

My mates approach was in a bookstore:
Mate = excuse me
HB = Sorry, I don't work here... *massive awkward silence in which she backs away in fear*

Just your opinions on where we went wrong, overcoming AA and where we can improve.

Cheers guys.

You will overcome the biggest part of your AA just by doing things like this more and more.

Did you have to build up courage before you approached? because you say AA is a bitch, yet you both approached some people :)

Yeah, tried to use the 3 second rule and I did that with my second approach, the first approach however I had to pluck up the courage and i blushed a lil bit :oops:
I am definately gonna have another go and persevere with it :)

Appreciate the support man :D
