Was supposed to go to the city and go bar-hopping in a target-rich environment but my buddy bailed on me and I called some other people for backup, but they were busy.

Ended up going to my local pub, a last resort since it's not exactly a pussy warehouse, but nonetheless I saw this two set that included an older HB9 and a HB8. Some fat and unattractive AFC dude tries to hit on them, ends up sitting at their table, but the body language from the HBs was freaking hillarious, they were laughing at him, not with him, and they were not taking him seriously.

I stood like an AFC for ages at the bar, but when this charade was going on I looked over at the girls and made eye contact by joining in with their laughter (a technique I learned about in the Stealth Seduction DVD) and eventually the guy got up and left. I went over and asked HB8 what line he used. That got the set opened. HB8 eventually goes to the bathroom and I'm alone with HB9.

This is where I transition into my DHV-spiked story. I'd been working on this, I used it on a date a few months ago and thought it was a useful tool. So in the last few days I started writing the story down and rehearsing it. I figured that tonight would be a good time to try it.

So I gave HB9 the story but she kinda glazed over and didn't sound terribly excited about it. She probably felt like I was bragging since I forgot to put in some bits about how I was 'nervous at first' but overcame it eventually. HB8 comes back from the bathroom, I introduce myself to her, resume the story with HB9. HB8 plays with her phone and eventually says "let's go dance."

End of set.

Mistakes:

No negs, not much laughter, not much chemistry building up, she was never at the point where she was trying to win me over.

Used DHV story too early in set. That's probably something that should come a little later when building comfort.

By starting the DHV story when HB8 was absent, when HB8 came back she had missed the start of the story and was feeling left out.

I had no wing with me. Not much I could do about that on this occasion.

Made one other approach, to a HB9 photographer who was walking about taking pictures. I asked her what paper the photos were going to be in. Problem was I was talking to a husband and wife couple that I know at the time when I opened her, and the guy's wife was bullshitting about some 80s club that she used to go to, she got the HB9's attention and changed the subject to that silly 80s club. Cock blocked by a married woman? Maybe. HB9 said she was 'with the DJ' anyway, I assume that to mean she was dating him. Whatever.

Bounced with my friends to a pub across the street where this married girl opens me up and talks my ear off for the next two hours. I actually enjoyed talking to her, and she openly admitted to me at one point that she was attracted to me. That's a nice little ego boost.

So there you have it. Two approaches in a non-ideal setting. Experimented with a 'new' routine and I know how to improve it. Good company with friends. Good times.

Oh, and I got in and found a bi chick IMing me from a dating site, now I'm seeing her tomorrow evening!
