First of all, I have to say that I live in a town where there is people who speaks english and french. Some only speaks one language. I speak both, but I am still learning english.

This happened weeks ago but I want to learn what to not do. I was in a club with a friend and he was talking to a group of guy so I just started walking arround the club looking for some chicks. I was going to the balcony and I infront of me a girl was going to pass so I let her pass first. But in this club there is a window door you have to open before but she didn't see it so she walked directly into it. It was so funny! She looked at me and I was still laughing. She smiled and came to me, put a hand on my shoulder and :

Her - (something in english)
Me - Sorry what? Do you speak french?
Her - Yes, a little bit (after this sentense we talked in french)
Me - Ok, next time, don't try to break the door, just push it.
Her - hahaha
Her - Do you understand when I speak french?
Me - Yes you speak well. Your accent is sexy (it really was).
Her - Walked away for a second...then came back and told me that she is ashamed about what just happened.

I didn't try to understand what she was talking about. I think she misunderstood what I said and maybe she thought I was talking about her. What I did wrong? It was too soon to tell her a compliment?

Yeah I think she was talking about the door still, I don't think it had anything to do with your calling her sexy.

I do agree that you shouldn't compliment her like that so soon. But at the same time, it wasn't a failure, if she kept talking to you, you should've just went ahead and kept talking and running your material on her and who knows what could've happened. Don't call it quits so early!
