Hello. So in one of my previous field reports I showed how my Speed Closing routine got me 20 numbers in one night. One of those numbers was a cute little 18 year old who told me her name was Lextacy. I second dayed with her at a party and learned that she had a husband (damn). So I made a bet with a female friend of mine, and my partner in pickup, Steph. That I could get her to leave her husband in 2 weeks.
3rd day happened a few days later. It was a pretty epic failure. First of all, she wanted her husband to come. I figured, whatever, this is my chance to show how much better a catch I am than him. So I shaved, put on my finest threads, cologne, cleaned out my car, and made my hair look good. Then when I arrived at where I was to pick the happy couple up, my car broke down. Not the "My battery died," or "I ran out of gas," broke down. No, my car was making terrible noises and creating a quickly growing river of coolant on the asphalt. "Shit," I thought, "I bet hes going to have to drive us in his car, and I bet it's a fucking Ferrari." Luckily, he didn't have a car and he whined and bitched the entire time about it being hot and how he was hungry. I suggested we walk and that I knew a good Vietnamese place nearby, but the damage to the day was done, she called her mom and had her pick the two of them up. They offered me a ride but I had to take care of my car and get it towed to a mechanic.
That night I was going out for coffee and renting a movie with a few friends, I called her to invite her along. "Yeah, what do you want Danny?" It was her husband. "Hey, (uncomfortable) is Lexie there? Me and some friends are renting a movie and were wondering if she wanted to come along." "Hell no! Do you know what time it is? That's my wife dawg!" (He thinks hes very hardcore) I could here her in the background, she sounded like she was crying. Then he hung up on me. An hour or two later I got a text from her saying "I'm sorry, Micheal is just very protective."
The next night a friend of mine was having a party so I invited her and her friends. Her friends showed up, but Lextacy wasn't there. They told me about how her husband was an asshole and takes advantage of her submissive nature, and how he has a history of being violent and has pulled a gun of her friends before. Then one of her friends suggested that Lexie/Lextacy date me instead. I agreed.
The night went well and we set a day to invite her to my place and make sure she comes.
The night came and we bought some alcohol and went back to my place to wait for Lextacy and her friend Kaylie. They called after we waited for a couple hours to tell me they hit a deer on the road and wanted me to pick them up. When I got there, it was Kaylie, Lextacy, and two of Lextacy's ex-boyfriends (wtf). It didn't matter at that point to me. Right when we got to my place, i isolated her and took her for a walk. She started crying on my shoulder. I asked her what was wrong. She told me about how her husband beats her and she has bruises and she wanted me to take off her wedding ring. I did, waited 3 seconds looking in her eyes thinking "YES! About time she kissed me." Then she perked up, "Oh shit, I need to get my stuff out of my room, Micheal tears up my stuff when he's angry." I told her I would take her. And I got my friend to drive me (my car was still in the shop).
So we drove to her place. The vibe was exuberant but violent and prepared for anything. When we got there she led us to the door, then told us to wait outside for her. She came back outside looking scared, her husband was following her. I turned around, motioned for her to follow and started walking back to the car. He grabbed her and pulled her inside. For about 15 minutes that felt like forever, me and my friend sat there wondering what to do. We physically could go into the house, kick his ass and take his wife. If police got involved we would be at fault though. If we called to police we didn't know what we would say or if we could get in any trouble. So we waited for her. Then her husband came back outside to fight with us. I spoke to him softly but forcibly and told him Lexie was coming with us. She came outside and got in the car. We called to police because shed been pretty beaten up. The police couldn't remove him because her mother was the main signer on the lease and didn't want him out ("I am very fond of Micheal, Lexie probably beat her self up for attention.") She stayed at my place that night. I didn't because Steph was having an asthma attack and lost her inhaler. I spent that night in the hospital with her. Lextacy spent it on my bed with one of her ex's.
She wouldn't answer my texts for a couple days but today I ran into Kaylie at the mall. She told me she didn't want anything to do with Micheal and again told me I should try to date her. I said, "I've been." She said Lextacy was staying at a mutual friend's place. So later that night, about an hour ago, I texted her asking, "Know anything cool going on tonight?" She called me. I could hear her husband in the background. "Why the hell are you texting me?" "I'm looking for something fun to do tonight?" "Micheal told you not to talk to me and I love my husband. Leave me alone!"
And that my friends is my epic failure and the story of a very sad girl.
