Okay, I've spent a lot of time working on the cube routine. I run it on pretty much every girl I talk to at this point. I just find a way to work it in, "Hey, you know how they always have those personality quizzes in cosmo?" Then just take it from there. The thing I like about it is it works on so many levels. Not only does it put you totally in control of the conversation, but it also gives you unheralded power in that ultimately you control her fate if only for a few seconds on some stupid quiz. They are going nuts wondering what this all means.
If nothing else, you end up learning about her as a person and in turn this draws you emotionally closer to her. You know things about her. Try and get a few anecdotes out of her, find more things for you to relate on which will in turn generate more things for you guys to do.
Enough with the foreplay
Here's my field reports on this method:
Girl 1:
First girl I ever tried this on was at a coffee shop. I just kind of wanted to do it once just so I knew I had a good idea of what I was doing. Didn't really try to ham it up with any additional quips or negs. I did work in a few "Oh, reallys" but I found that phrase ineffective in drawing her curiosity toward me. Her horse was sweet, and white. In the end, she gave it a 7.5 out of 10 for accuracy. She didn't stick around very long after that, and didn't seem extremely interested.
What I learned - make sure to work in humor and keep her engaged throughout
Girl 2:
A very smart girl, 18. I figured that the "Oh really" didn't work too well last time, so I tried "Hmm, interesting..." instead. It worked like a charm, almost immediately she asks, "Why is that interesting?" To which I responded, "Uh uh, good things come to those who wait!" She didn't describe her horse's personality, only told me it was big and white like a carriage horse. I flipped that on her in the end by saying she is really shallow and only likes guys for their physical appearance. She got a little mad but it was a cute kind of mad
She gave it a 9 out of 10 for accuracy.
What I learned - keep the heat on and bust their balls by virtue of their responses.
Girl 3:
A girl who had previously shut me down, this is a long story. Let's just say, I'm glad I had my two previous experiences because everything I learned from both of the other surveys helped me out here. She revealed to me that she skewed her "storm" answer because she figured out that it would be a metaphor for troubles. Her horse was a princess so I insinuated she might be of the other persuasion, she didn't get the humor so I just said "we'll just skip that one". She gave it an 8 out of 10 for accuracy, considering that her horses response didn't match my results.
What I learned - don't get choked up just because the girl is extremely hot, go back to what you know and stay comfortable
