Just a success story I wanted to share. I'm in Las Vegas at the moment visiting a military buddy of mine. Me and two guys hit this local bar that they frequent a lot. The bartender is SLAMMIN! Fake tits, badass body, naturally pretty face.
We are one of the first groups there, so naturally we got a lot of attention from her. My "untrained" friends immediately start attempting to flirt with her, making sexual jokes, staring at her tits, etc. My friend "Sean" is very alpha-male when he drinks... so much so that it gets very annoying. After a few beers he gets really friendly and finally walks around the bar to meet EVERYONE.
I've been running a different type of game than my buddies... I'm a little more "trained". I've been ignoring her for the most part. Not leaning into her when she talks. I negged a lot... probably too much... but I didn't want to be like every other douchebag there. She seems to be into me and plays along with all the negs.
After casually talking and such for a few hours in between her serving customers, I hand her my cell phone and say "put your number in my phone, we're going out tomorrow".
We hung out at the bar a little longer, I got a hug and kiss on the cheek (I pointed to my cheek and said "kiss".) And left very, very satisfied.
The most hilarious part of the story is that ALL DAY my friend Sean was ragging me about studying Pick-Up. At the bar last night, he annoyed the shit out of everyone, pissed off the bartender multiple times, and eventually got kicked out. I hope that he finally sees that it actually can work and isn't just for "pathetic guys with no self-esteem". When we met back up at the house early this morning he said to me "How in the FUCK did you pull that shit off!?"
For the record, this chick has got 8 years on me and is way out of my league (I'm 25, she's 33)
