I got into Pick up arts about a month ago. Let me just say that this forum has been a bigger help to me then any book or anything at all for that matter. I owe you all bigtime.
I decided to post this for 2 reasons, A - Because im god damn proud of myself and B - to help other people in my situation and hopefully give hope to any newbie who doesn't think he can # close random chicks at bars after not even a month
Before i got into this I was the quiet, nice guy at the pub, Sitting with his mates or in the corner nodding lifelessly to the music, staring at all these beautful girls and wanting them, but not have the balls or game to go up and make them mine. I would then wake up the next morning and regret it. I can talk to people, and i dont have bad social skills with guys or girls, and i have a good sense of humour but my game and confidence levels were just a mess. I am a singer/guitar player in a band and i do that as a part time job, so it dawned on me that i need to do something bad, as despite this fact i am still spending my nights alone. How lame is that! Alright on with my story. In the last month i have dedicated myself to go out 3 times a week and chat to girls. Also girls i meet in general i try to converse with. This has helped me bigtime as i have become more comfortable around girls and I can be myself. Out at the bars i am starting to see some results. Most of my methods is based on MM theory but I have decided to put my own little spin on things when it comes to openers, any feedback advice is welcome.
Alright so I made a deal with my Wing that last night we had to seriously put this sh*t into practise and aim for some results.
First number close of the night
I had just grabbed a beer, and i was heading through the crowded beer garden where there was some music playing and dancing etc to go outside for a smoke. I couldn;t get through so i walked straight through what was like a dance circle between friends... with about 3-4 girls..
Me: Excuse me guys, i'm taking the scenic route...(pointing) dont mind me
*Hb7 knocks me... spills a tiny amount of my full pot, probabably half a shot worth of beer*
Hb - Oh sorry about that!
Me - *deadly serious* You owe me 10 mls of beer.
Hb - Haha are you serious?
Me - i sure am!
Hb - It wasn't even me, it was your fault.
Me: Haha, i think not, You see i was walking to have a smoke, and your dancing malfunction lost me a tiny portion of beer, and that aint cool *jokingly*
HB - *sarcasticly* well my mate works at the beer... he can top it up for you
Me - Lets go.
Hb - Are you serious?
Me - Yep damn straight.
I grab her hand and within 30 seconds i have led her away from her set. I wasn't even planning on talking to this girl it just happened. On the way to the bar about 4 people stop to say hi to me.. Which is a great DHV. Her mate at the bar was also my mate too as it happens. So I get to the bar and we are waiting, i strike up small talk and she is still talking about how she can believe this etc but laughing about it. Lots of kino between both of us.
Me - So do you always buy drinks for random guys?
her - Haha no i am not buying you a drink we are just topping that little bit up
*big sip of beer* Beer is now half full
Her - No way thats not fair!!
Me - Well i have to make the most out of this situation dont it *downs rest of beer*
She is lining up and i am standing behind her.. ever now and then i poke her and say " Im getting thirstyy!!!"
So she buys me a beer and some of her friends come... The girl tells them all about what i made her do and we are joking about it, In conversation I pick up that they have to leave soon. I am thinking about a number close when she prompts me!!
Her - Hey put into your calender September... *cant even remember*
Me - Whats on?
Her: Its my 21st.. you should come along ( As a Rafc, this is the sweetest god damn music my ears have ever heard, a chick trying to close you!)
Me - No drama's.. ill grab your number... *number closed*
Her friends decide they are leaving... I use mystery's *point* kiss goodbye and she does, and leaves.
I didn't have time to think about it, and that is what came out. I still have a long way to go especially with phone game and day 2's as i am finding out, as well as bucket loads of other stuff, but once you get your confidence levels up your game sky rockets. Because of this after she left i was on fire with every girl i was talking to. I had one of the best nights out in a long time.
I'll also share some other Openers.. lines... and tricks that i am starting to use.

Me - Excuse me... *to Hb*.. are you a fan of strangers buying other strangers drinks?
Hb - Yes.. (always a sparkle in their eyes!!)
Me - Sweet as! I'll have a beer please
Another one is if you are at the bar.. this works well with a set of girls
me - Excuse me girls, I have never drunk alcohol before... Because its my first time i want it to be special... what do you guys recommend?
What ever they answer with, Neg the drink or even better if the bartender serves you mid conversation.. listen to their suggestions, say oh ok that sounds cool... then turn around and order a beer.
Another opener (this is gold!) for 2-3 sets of girls that i use - I usually do this straight when i walk in the bar with my wing and a few mates, to the first group of girls i see to get me in the mood and hopefully raise my status to everyone around me. This has not failed once in 10+ times and always starts a good conversation. What I do is wear 2 different coloured socks intentionally under my jeans so i can use this.
Me - Excuse me girls, but i need your opinion on something *time constraint*
me - You see I was walking her with my Buddies, and they were *attempting* to give me shit about something. You see I am wearing 2 different socks *pull up jeans and point and show them* (they usually giggle a bit, If they do you make a point of it in your arguement) You see, Why the hell is that so funny? You cant see them, they are under my Jeans, and are pretty much there just to protect my feet. Yet the fact that they are not colour co-ordinated gets such a reaction out of people. Why is that?? Think hard about it... Why is it the social norm to NEED to have 2 matching socks when you can't even see it!!! What do you guys reckon?
It needs to be delivered like you don't care at all and you find the whole thing funny.. I have had 10 minute conversations on this opener and its solid gold.
Also, another gaming investment i have bought is a small portable breathiliser. Awesome for getting the attention of a whole set (male and female) on you as its hilarious and everyone always wants to know how pissed they are... also with girls if you want to isolate you just say..." hey babe lets go find the most pissed person in here and breatho him!"
Alright I have crapped on, I am just in an amazing mood after finally finding some game. For anyone who was in my situation, just get out there! just talk to as many chicks as possible weather they are attractive or not. It all helps and the more you are talking to anyone the more you get in the mood, and you do just find your game sometimes when you dont expect to.
I am looking forward to the Future and To try and set up a Day 2 with this chick (Damn she has a mint body!)
