Oh for fuck sake.
The aim before the night out was:
. Open attractive girls
. Don't let rejection ruin the night
. One kiss close
I have to admit, I'm not massively bad at talking to people, in all honesty it's something I've been doing my whole life because moving from town to town was abundant in my childhood. But talking to attractive girls... fuck that.
At the end of the night I walked away with 3 numbers! ....and 2 kiss closes! So I smashed it tonight... right? NOPE One number I got was at the very beginning of the night when I was catching up with an old friend I bumped into, his girlfriend had a friend that I chatted to about Uni and what she wanted to be, then I asked for her number and she gave it to me.
Number close 2 was so weak if it was a person it would be able to walk into a cancer ward and nobody would bat an eyelid. Basically these girls that I opened were off to a different club so i got one of their numbers in case I ended up in there.... I know... And as Mystery says "Weak game = Weak Numbers"
Number Close 3 was basically just lucky. Some girl was being harassed on the dancefloor by your typical grabby creeps, so i walked up, held out my hand and puller her away. We danced, kissed and i got her number.(I'm not even going to go into my other kiss close, she was so drunk she fell over after, so it pretty much doesn't count)
So why am I so unhappy? These displayed minimal game. The only one that contained an opener was the weakest. I made a commitment here to master pickup, not get lucky on the dancefloor or meet someone through a friend, as far as I'm concerned, this night is only useful to learn from where I went wrong.
I used the same opener all night (I really want to test everything at least 10 times before i throw it out as it takes some time to master the correct way of delivering it) and to be honest it was probably one of few positives, which was:
"Hi, i need your opinion on something that me and my friend Amber have been arguing about all day, but I've only got a few minutes so listen up. Who Lies more, women or men?" (Credit to Mystery- Mystery Method)
This opener seems to be pretty killer, I added the false time constraint and my friend being a girl called Amber for a small bit of social proof, and it only got completely rejected once out of the 11 sets I opened with it (all of which ranged from 3 sets to 6 sets - some mixed some all female) If your having a tough time just simply opening, or like me and used direct openers only to get blown out of the water, then I would honestly give this a go, the hardest part of this was the follow up.
If the girl I was targeting said 'Women' then I high fived her and said her honesty reminded me of my little sister, and that she is now my honorary little sister for the night (to show my disinterest)
If the girl said 'Men' then I kind of winged it, teasing her that a man broke her heart and that she would never love again (This worked because I'm naturally suited to David Deangelo's cocky funny)
So where did it all go wrong?
My escalation from opener to seduction is poor. Piss poor. The annoying part is I can talk for days, i used to be unbelievably shy about 5 years ago so I started putting myself in situations where I had to talk more and developed a love for my own voice and also became generally more friendly. But unless I'm saying the right things, there isn't much point in talking at all.
It felt as if i was interrogating them about their life, trying to pick up on stuff to either make them laugh or find a commonality and it just fizzled out into "Ok, catch up with you later"
Example 1:
Opener
Me: So what do you at the moment, work or uni?
Her: I do (blah blah blah blah)
Me: Cool, do you like it?
Her: Yes/No/It's alright i suppose
Me: How come? (If it's a no) That's good that you enjoy it, you would be surprised at how many people hate what they do (If its a Yes)
You get the drift, its boring. It's so boring i could sell this to people close to suicide to tip them over the edge. I need help.
So the way to go forward here (I think) is adding some material that makes me more attractive, and generally taking the girl out of the group when talking to her directly (isolating effectively).

. How to move into seduction (possibly using DHV's)
. How to implement games into my routine to make it more fun
. How to isolate effectively
