Location: Graham Central Station (2nd Ave) 4 story club.
We had a great group attend the PMZ Meet Up here in Nashville this weekend. I was honored to be able to host this in my city. Everyone, really clicked and got along well. We had a blast! It all started on Friday night when we met for dinner and to get to know each other. It was pretty much the first time we'd all seen each other outside of avatar pics or camera's in the chat room. L.A. Tripp, Cali Tripp, Zip, The Doctor, Locke, Medic, KinoEscalator, Ka, Paramour, and JoeBazooka (Ka's brother) all were there. We had a great dinner and from there we bounced back to the hotel to get ready and have our pre-sarge meeting.
The Doctor started off the meeting giving some great NLP advise. Zip went over the rules of the wing, and more specifically about utilizing female wings. L.A. Tripp went over some tactics and answered some group questions. All of this will be on a video that will be posted later.
Anyways, we piled in a few vehicles and headed the quick 15 minutes from the hotel to downtown Nashville. We parked and walked a few blocks down to the venue. When I got there I saw the longest damn line I'd seen at that place in a very long time.
On one hand it was great because there were busy but the other hand we were at the back of it. Well, I went and talked to my door guy that I know. I slip him a little money for his troubles and we all get to the front of the line ASAP.
I get in the door and I say, "Hi" to a couple of people that work there which is my usual routine. I go straight to the bathroom, and when I get out there is Locke standing there in the 3rd floor dance area getting a feel for the place. We start walking looking for a set. I get a text from Kino saying he's got me a redbull and he's on the roof. I make my way to the roof to get my drink. He's in a 4 set, and he's seated with them on a bench. I walk up and say, "How do you guys know my friend?" They say, "Oh we just met him." As I hear their response I notice that Zip has her back to me and is occupying one of the obstacles at the moment. I get my drink and figure to eject since Kino was getting some good help.
I go over and talk to Doc, Locke, and Medic who are standing and talking. I am chit chatting for a few and I see this 6 set bachelor party. This HB4 has condoms in her vail, and she's got a a HB7 curly blonde hair standing next to her. 4 of the girls are seated. I figured WTF, and go right over. I say to the HB4 "Are you promoting safe sex or something?" She says, "Yeah kind of." I say, "Well those staples in the condoms don't really help!"
Then my target says, "Look I got one." She pulls out a fresh condom out of her pants.
The HB4 says these are my friends that are single and starts pointing them out. I notice a free chair, and I plop a seat, look to my right at the 4 seated and say, "Who's single again?" I keep the fluff talk going for a few then I am running out of material so I eject with my time constraint of being with friends.
Right after I eject I spot The Doctor with the Rose Girl that I # closed and went on a date with last Friday. They are seated at a table. I notice she's got eye contact with me. I walk over to say, "Hi" then tell her I'm here with friends from out of town that I have to get back to. I was trying to get out of the Doc's way without being weird about not talking to her. (Later, I found out she opened him and bought him a drink) Nice job Doc!
I go over and see Medic, Kino, and Ka. We're standing there talking about everything that's going on. A 3 set comes out to smoke and is like 2 feet behind Ka. I tell him, "Proximity" and tell him over his shoulder. Ka then opens them with. "Let me ask you something...Who's the cat Tom or Jerry?" It works and the set hooks. Kino is winging Ka. Ka then gets bored and leaves set. Kino is controlling it well, but I step in and wing with him since I'm just standing there anyways. We re-opened the set a few times over the night. Accusing them of following or stalking us.
Still on the roof I start talking to Medic again. Then I spot a two set that came up there for a smoke. HB6.5 Blonde and her shorter HB6 burnette friend. I tell Medic to open them. Zip talks to Medic in his ear for a bit. He says, "Come with me." Then he walks over to the two set. He does this story about being from NY and it's his first time in Nashville at a kareoke bar and how this is the best one. I don't remember exactly what was said but remember their body language wasn't of interest. The were pretty boring. We eject out and move on.
I walk down the steps to the 3rd floor dance area. At the bottom of the steps I see Zip telling some guy to hold her beer while she's takes of what I later find out with the guys coat. I am trying not to laugh at that shit test as I walk past her to Joe Bazooka, Ka, and Kino. I re-open that 3 set from early that I see, they ask where the guy in the pink shirt is, meaning Joe Bazooka. I can't find him in time and the group leaves. He was signing me Kino, Ka, and himself up for a song on Kareoke.
About that time I see the Rose Girl leading Doc by the hand to the dance floor.
You go boy!
I open a set over my right shoulder as I'm seated. They aren't that cute but what the hell. I said, "What are you singing?" They tell me, "We don't sing" I say, "What kind of people come to a kareoke bar and not sing?" They tell me they just want to watch the other fail and laugh. I tell them that's a good plan. I'm not interested so I go back to what I was doing.
Then they call our group to sing. Me, KinoEscalator, Ka, and Joe Bazooka hit the main stage to sing Blood Hond Gang's = The Bad Touch (Discovery Channel Song). I walk up and get a hug from one of the singers I'm cool with. The crowd is singing along and the women in the audience are having fun. I spot Locke in front of me and point him out while singing to give him some social proof.
I go down to the 2nd floor and I see Locke, The Doctor, and Cali Tripp sitting at a table near the dance floor. We see a cute two set to our right sit down. I tell Doc to open them and he's tired. I go over there and run my myspace opinion opener. The girl says, "Didn't you like just say this to us 4 weeks ago here?" In my head I'm thinking "OH SHIT!"
I say, "Yeah I know, good memory, don't you go to more than one place ever?" Kino walks over and I introduce him to the set. He bails me out telling his DHV elevator story. I give him the eject code. He stays in set and I leave since my mind is shot after being called out.
I get back to Cali, Doc, and Locke. I sit down and notice a very very nice two set to a table on our left. I get Locke to go over there and open them. As soon as he does the BF come out of no where and slams his beer on the table. Locke is in and out of set in a few minutes.
Kino later opens the same set with the "Gay Opener" holding his head up giving them the puppy dog eyes looking at them. Then things start to wind down as the club is about to close for the night. We get out of there safely and head to the hotel.
A couple of last minute notes I want to say. Kino and Locke both nights were opening like men possessed and were doing great. Tripp and Cali were burning it up on the dance floor opening sets. Zip was winging and find some men on her own as well and kicking butt. Ka, and Joe Bazooka were doing well. Paramour was seducing the guys on the dance floor! The Doc was kicking butt and having fun with The Rose Girl who later drove him around Nashville doing errands for Doc and took him to the airport on Sunday. I just want to say this group did a great job, and we had a blast!
