Guys...

Wanted to run a scenario by you guys and get some opinion on next steps.

The story:
My buddy and I had a double date last friday night here in San Diego. Funny enough, we went to a freebie Vince Kelvin event before the date. Anyway...the girl who my buddy was hooked up with was a girl he previously had met on POF. She was attractive, pretty face, but a little on the large side. Her friend on the other hand was a hot 5'4 blond, who I was paired up with. It wasnt a blind date as I had met this blond friend a week prior on halloween. I had a bunch of "the crow" makeup on my face, so she didnt really know what i looked like.

But she agreed to the date the next week after seeing a pic, so I figured that's a step towards success.(IO1#1)
So we start our date by meeting at the "heavy" girls house. Have a drink and the blond tells me "i have nice eyes" (IOI#2)

The date goes well, we bar hop, the blond and I hit it off real good, and walking to the next bar she links up with me arm in arm. (IO1#3). We continue to have a fun time, later able to sit by ourselves, and get into some deeper topics, love, family, kids, etc. Lots of eye contact/smiles shot my way.

The date ends, and my dumb ass fails to get her #. Not sure why, pussed out partly, also fairly intoxicated and my A-game sliding. But she told me where she worked and said come see her. (i have since forgotten the restaurant which now makes finding her tough).

But the following day my friend decides to call it off with the heavy girl. He said he was somewhat of an Ass in doing so too. So, Im thinking shit.
But I still wanted to reach the blond, so my buddy gives me his girls #, who I text asked for the blonds #. No response to my text.

But she does respond back to my friend, who just gave her the boot. She says that her friend thought I was nice, but there was no physical connection. Im thinking WTF? I got IOIs all night, plus she was hanging on me. I just didnt get the damn number, but she was def into it.

So....this is where I'm at. To me, this is simply the case of a fat chick cock blocking the hotter friend. She got dumped on, and now doesnt want her hot friend getting hooked up, otherwise thats one less girlfriend for her to be single with. And if it is true, then either tell me directly or let the friend tell me.

What's ya'lls take on this? Now Im trying to remember the name of the restaurant so I can "be in the area" one day, and meet her again. I dont think asking the fat friend is gonna get me anywhere.

I need to work on my number close obvisouly, otherwise this would be a dead issue. Fucked up there. But if I can see her again, I think its all good.
