Apparently Rockin Rodeo is the only bar in town to go to on a Thursday night.

I walk in and chode around for a while. Finally suck it up and start approaching.

2-set having a convo - Hey i'm with quality control for the bar. I need you to tell me if your having a rocking time, good, or shitty. target - awesome time! the band rocks. awesome! I turn to her friend and say your shoes are untied. she looks down and then says no i'm wearing boots. I'm just teasing i say. Then to the target on a scale of 1-10 how good of a dancer are you? she hem haws for a while. i say let find out! no, i'm with my friend. eject

blow off girl and friend - To Target - OMG i was totally going to wear that tonight. That would have been so embarrassing. She ignores me and her friend high fives me. So i open her friend (too fat to make the new target) You're the friendly one. She must be the bad girl. friend-no she's not a bad person. no bad girl, not person. oh "bad girl" ya, she's the bad girl. We chit chat i try the best friends test but the target ignores, eventually i eject.

hispanic - OMG i was totally going to wear that. She was already shaking her head before i walked over kinda saying no. That was the worst ever. The worst ever you can't do worst? she shakes her head, ok then what do you call a bear with out any teeth? A gummy bear! she says that was awful too… Ok then you tell me a joke…. she shakes her head. maybe some other time. I eject.

Blonde bartender - She gives me a quick nod as i walk up. luckily she working in a dead spot so i don't have to wait long to talk to her. "Hey i like your curt nod. You strike me as a very assertive person" "yea, i am" "Ya, i can see that. Here let me see your hand, thats interesting you middle finger is longer than the other. I read that means when you were growing up you had a lot a estrogen. That tends to make people be more girly, but i don't think you're a girly person" "no, i had a really ruff childhood. Im kinda hard and soft, ya know." "i bet you're kinda tuff on the outside like its hard to get to know you, but deep down you're a sweetie" Theres now a guy to buy beer so i have to bail. "don't worry your secrets safe with me" She smiles and watches me leave.

Later i chat her up a bit about dancing, find out where she's from and thumb wrestle her for world championship. I won. Told her to be safe as i left the bar.

cute girl - Hey can you teach me how to dance? "i'm just learning. points to guy" i hold my hand out and say lets give it a try "i'm just learning and moves over towards guy" I eject

So it seems like i can open fairly well, and thats it. Don't generate any attraction, conversations usually stall out, I'll post later about what i've learned, but this is deffinatly an area i need help with.
