Today I met for coffee with the girl I mentioned in this post learning-the-game-is-starting-to-pay-off-vt162160.html. It was going pretty well and at one point she mentioned that she plays xbox. That seemed like a good excuse to get her back to my place so after talking for a bit longer I invited her back to play. She agreed and we walked back to mine.

All was going according to plan up to this point. We started playing xbox and that's all we did. I couldn't figure out how to escalate. I'm getting the hang off kissing girls in clubs but this was different. She was sitting next to me but I couldn't work out how to kiss her or anything. Pointers on how to escalate in this situation would be very much appreciated. I think if I could have got the ball rolling I could have f-closed.

When we parted she only hugged me but she was getting picked up by one of her parents which made kissing then difficult too.

Overall though I still view this as a positive experience. On Friday I approached a girl, kissed her and got her number. Today I met her for coffee and managed to get her back to my place. I've never managed to do that before. Also, while talking to her I felt fairly comfortable and didn't get too much of the I don't know what to say syndrome. That's big for me.

She seemed to have a good time so it seems fairly likely that she'd agree to meet up with me again. Regardless, I need to learn how to escalate in that situation. If I do that I think I'll have a lot of success.
