| What started out as what seemed to be a really shitty morning actually had a really good turn of events. I was waiting for the bus this morning when I saw the HB8(who goes to the same school as me) that I`ve been eyeing for awhile. Never really had the balls to go talk to her even though we were on the same bus every day. So the bus arrives and sure enough it`s packed, as usual. Bus driver tells a group of us that there`s no more room and then tells us the alternate bus to take. Now i could have waited 5 minutes for the bus I was sure would get me where I needed to go but something compelled me to jump on the alternate bus(I had no idea where it went at this point) with the HB8(Let`s call her Cindy for the stories sake). Long story short, I thought Cindy knew where she was going and would simply get off when she did. Yeah, she didn`t. I kinda know my way around town so I figured i could just get off the bus and walk to another stop that would get me back to school. As I stand up she looks at me, smiles, and proceeds to follow me off. We end up talking for the rest of the time it took to get back to school (20 minutes-half hour) about family, trips, things about her etc. It seemed to going extremely well, and she was laughing alot, which is usually a good sign. Anyways we get back to school I figured she`d simply say goodbye and carry onto her class. I`m kinda nervous walking through the doors but all i keep thinking is "gotta get her number, i gotta ask for it."
The rest of the convo went like this:
Her:(stops and turns to face me) I`m already pretty late for class, I think i`m just gonna miss it, are you gonna go to your class?
Me: well, it is pretty late, but I need to pass so I think i'm gonna go
Her: Oh, alright(still facing me)
Me: But,this was a fun little adventure, we should do this again sometime, gimme your number.
Her: (Types it into my phone)
