I haven't been on much lately, just been going out to the bars, clubs and bookstores talking to girls, nothing serious just getting over my approach anxiety. I've awesome luck when I haven't been trying to pick someone up or was just going about my day. I'm a 37 year old guy, so naturally I've been looking for someone around my age, but I had a swift change of luck recently.

I do some photography part time, mostly as a hobby and to make some spending money. I had a 24yo HB9 ask me if I could take some photos for her for her Facebook, naturally I said yes because I was looking to add some new shots to my portfolio. She came by my apartment and made some small talk and went over some ideas, I made her laugh and smile a lot, I was just being myself and she liked it. We got to shooting, did a few poses and was wrapped up in less than an hour. She asked if she could see some of my other work so I pulled out my portfolio and we started goign through it. I did some black and white nudes for a client last year and she was floored by it and fell in love with them. The next words out of her mouth I will remember for a long time... "I'm taking my clothes off I want you to shoot me like this" long story short she stripped in front of me without even batting an eye. I had her lay on my couch while adjusted the lights and shot a few dozen photos. When we were done I sat on the couch next to her and showed her what I shot, she started getting closer and one thing led to another and we ended up in my bedroom. Totally amazing and not planned. And she said she had some much fun she wants to "shoot" once a week.

My second bit of luck came out of no where. I'm friends with this 19yo HB8, totally awesome girl, always though of her as my little sister. One day we got to talking and turns out we have a lot of the same interests and want the same things in life. After 3 weeks of talking and texting I asked her out and she said yes! What was supposed to be a Thursday night of dinner and drinks became a weekend long date. Again, I was just being myself I didn't use any lines on her or try to game her. She was a little taken back when I finally told her I was 37, she didn't seem to care and said age is only a number. I was thinking she might think I was some soft of pervert picking up a 19yo, but since then we've been getting closer and really enjoying each other. I won't lie, its a huge self confidence boost when I go out in public with a hot 19yo on my arm and people stare at us. Especially when I see the jealous looks from the other guys my age.

We'll see what happens in the next few weeks/months hopefully I can keep up this momentum.
