Hello everyone,

After meeting a couple of chaps on this forum I decided to initiate a thread on my personal experiences on pickup in singapore. I see the vast amount of FR threads but I only like the few floating around that deal with the later stages of the game as opposed to the transformation from an AFC to a non-AFC. I think its because these threads apply much more to me on a personal level.

So, I'm going to focus largely on my experiences post AA, trying to solidify a personal style of pickup that works best. I'm located in a city so that makes for sufficient avenues to work on both day and night game. I currently 20 years old and started reading on pickup 3 years ago, but only found the necessity to start operating day game on a larger scale in the past 2 years. I eliminated AA mostly on my own, through direct opening a ton of sets. I still get hit by vestiges of AA but its effect extends more to the speech side rather than the approaching--I occasionally jumble/fumble my opening sentences (its a sticking point i'll have to work on). Im considering taping my daygame conversations like smooth operator does but thats still a pretty faraway thought.

went out for nightgame with ninjastyles. opened a bottle (which was a terrible idea because it limited any bouncing opportunities and caused a bomb of logistical problems). Anyway, my current style is more of an semi selective approach machine than a outgoing energetic center of the party character. I think theres definitely a need to balance the social proof aspect of the game and the approacher/opener side. Long term social proof is definitely desirable, but at the same time it requires long term relationship building with the people who work at the club. I definitely dont have that covered, so that leaves me with a short term social proof from the scene by opening sets and stacking forward/backward into separate sets, as well as just cold approaching girls.

On this night we went in when the club was moderately crowded and didnt open any sets. I saw an hb 9.5 and a hb 7 come to a nearby table at the lounge area so i proceeded to open them as kind of a warm up set. I didnt realize this but two other entirely female sets, both of which had some serious babes, (in addition to group i came in with) were watching me lol. I opened pretty confidently but couldnt really find a direction to bring the conversation toward so I ejected. I used this line for the first time pretty much throughout the entire night (with some neg/ situational openers)-
"are the two of you people who are confident enough to accept a sincere compliment?"
"blablabla"
"well so am i, fire away"

It worked pretty well on most sets except in a couple where I wasnt really heard (gotta speak louder, more confidently, slower).

I must've opened at least 30 sets that night; tried to shift a few sets around/ use them to open other sets as social proof, merged forward and backwards etc but toward the end of the night spent alot more time around a social "group" of our creation lol. There was a french dude and a french hb 7.5 from canada brought in by ninjastyles and a middle eastern dude with a french hb 9 in this socially created mix set. Looking back, the process of creating this social group was pretty fun and productive but the set itself did not yield anything more than number closes. I ran rapport routines, comfort and progressive kino on the two girls without the other realizing I think. I successfully isolated each of them for 5 mins and 10 mins respectively where I qualified them, did heavier kino, and tried to k-close, both turned out to be unsuccessful.

I also spent a good hour of the night fixating heavily on this hb9.5 who was in one of the sets and saw me opening my first set. I approached her and her friend (two set) on three occasions. The first had a somewhat warm response which quickly turned cold when her friend tried to pull her away, the second she seemed to have difficulty remembering who I saw, and the third was the most elaborate set up of all. I opened a separate set to use them both as a jumping point/DHV and as away to remove the obstacle (her friend) as I try to game her. This unprepared setup ran along pretty smoothly and I actually managed to sit next to her for a good 20 minutes. Sadly, she wasnt particularly interested and ran pretty cold (claiming jet lag when actually looking really really smashed :/). I then decided to rejoin the party instead of sitting next to her, tried to # close, wasnt successful and ejected. I think the first approach could have been construed in a manner which would have been much more productive for the purposes of closing this girl. I'll have to experiment more and have fun in the process!

I'm not too upset by this pretty substantial failure not because I was having alot of fun trying to game her, but more so because I'm used to unsuccessful sets/failures that I believe more in a numbers game. There are definitely merits of high quality game/social proof which I have to work on a lot more.

I number closed a couple of other people that night but these were my focus sets.

I dont think i'm going to go in such depth in future posts but there you go!

I'll write about both 1/16/12 and 1/18/12 together because they werent particularly incredible.

1/16/12

Went out to a club, opened a whole lot of sets with incredibly warm responses--I was definitely on a flow. However, I'm really not too sure why but I didnt get any kcloses or day 2s. Ended up with 2 # closes and a FB close from 10+ warm sets which is definitely not a good sign. I merged sets forward/backwards pretty well I think I got a little smoother with doing that. I'm also gaining familarity with that location so social proof and environmt control definitely went up. Some dude actually came up to me and said he recognized me as the guy "who had the smiling face" lol.

Anyway, highlight of the night was this game I started playing (with myself), where I try to get drinks from girls I know I cant really progress further. I've never tried doing that to a target I'll have to try that sometime. Yeah so I basically DHV, DHV, build some rapport and comfort with a girl/girls and get them to buy me drinks. Did that to a 3 girl-set who were leaving the next day-- they bought me two drinks and another two from individual hbs. It was pretty fun then I realized a girl was kinda doing the same thing as me so I started talking to her.

So this girl was an hb9 who was opening guys left and right haha looked kinda drunk. I ended up spending more than an hour with her and her friends which wasnt very productive but at the time I was having alot of fun vibing with them and her especially. We were walking around together and working on people to get us drinks. Bounced for a bit later with her alone where I kinda went a little AFC after she shared some surprising personal info. Didnt escalate beyond hand holding and she told me she had a bf (not because I was conveying interest but because she was like explaining her rationale for her behavior). Yeah so that set was kinda wasted but she is a pretty parallel psychological version of me in heels

1/18/12 was a horrible night for me because there just werent any sets which interested me. Opened 4 female sets which I probably could've # closed but didnt want to because they just werent interesting. Was contemplating playing that get drinks game but was like nah i'll save my energy for saturday night so i went home at 1.30am.

I did see two very high value mixed sets outside the club and 1 inside but didnt get around to opening them. The ratio of guy girl in those groups were pretty tight so that would've been an uphill task. Does anyone have any responses to this statement?


I've only been covering the night game i've been running haven't included the day game and the dates i've been on not too sure if I want to include them in my posts. Night game is definitely higher energy and funner with easier kino escalation. I think I need to figure a way to bring that energy to day game where i've got the same amount of confidence in opening but lack that high energy state.

I’ve been way too lazy to write FRs and LRs despite going out to game for hours a night multiple nights a week. I’m becoming more serious about doing this on a larger scale—with recordings and maybe videos. So, despite my dislike of sitting down and typing out tons of words, I’m going to try and update this once a week. Every serious PUA i’ve seen online has their own blog complete with youtube videos, so hopefully i’ll reach that one day (soon).

 

I’m not going to try update chronologically since my last post but instead focus on events in the past week. I went out daygaming on saturday to try to accomplish two things: go for the <5 min k-close and increase my stash of #s. I’m pretty intrigued by the 25 kiss rejections mission (i’m at 5 right now) and I want to work on my instant-pulls. I really don’t remember the amount of sets I approached or got blown out from, but there were around 10 sets which I managed to hook for a bit. I dislike dealing with multiple girls so if a girl appears to be waiting for someone else I usually just go for the quicker # close. (Note: I have tried waiting with the girl for her friend/friends, and then proceeding to spend time with them, but it hasn’t been very fruitful—sticking point of not being able to isolate/start a kino snowball on a chick when her friend is right next to us? Maybe I should just go for the kino regardless and see what happens).

 

Results: 7# closes, 3 FB closes (response to friend request not looking good). HOWEVER, I think recently I’ve become more lazy/sloppy with approaches because I’ve done so many and i’m not really that focused—most of the new numbers are flakes!?!?! I wonder if its because I’m not arranging a future meetup immediately or because i’m not qualifying them or because im just in one of those ‘down periods’.

 

I’ve also (finally) managed to sort out the whole grouping contacts thing so I can now send out mass texts! I sent something along the lines to my flakes list of 20 and got around 6-7 responses. I’m not too sure what to do with this flake list lol do I just keep periodically sending out mass texts? I also sent out a mass text to 30 other more stable numbers but surprisingly the replies weren’t very positive. THIS IS A STICKING POINT!

 

I also think my texting game is really weak/incongruent—maybe thats why I’m not getting enough replies. I might try start sending those meetup ultimatums to really put the ball in the girl’s court. I’ve read quite a bit about this being a numbers game and that going onwards’ is whats important. I definitely agree, BUT, I’m very picky about the girls I approach, like I only like girls of the certain racial profile and their population is <10% of the overall. Therefore, I need my numbers:meetup/close ratio to be much higher than it is. I will keep track of my closes out of the numbers I have but I’m not sure if I can keep track of the amount of sets I open. I mean...between remembering chick’s names and their details I don’t really think theres space left to keep track of un-closed sets.

 

I’m attaching a voice recording (from my phone) of a successful mom-daughter pickup (MY FIRST) with a wing from the past few nights. My voice dominates the conversation because my wing was interacting with the daughter and he managed to # close. Its a pity theres no video because ALOT of calibration was done physically. I gradually shifted the mom’s attention away from the daughter and made her back face her daughter so she couldn’t see the # close. WHAT UP!!!! I’m going to hunt for one of those sneaky recording devices/mikes and a proper video camera. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

 

I will post my LRs soon so far its been 3 this year (all from cold approaches). My aim’s to go slightly higher than 1 a month considering I live with my parents and logistics is a pain. I’ve actually had another 3 almost f-closes but logistics just couldn’t work and I didn’t set up another meet (1 was a tourist and 1 was when I spent a weekend overseas).

FRs for weekend of 24/3 and 25/3

Ive been thinking more about the divide between “shooting blanks” and instant-dating--working on way fewer sets for a longer time to get a better chance of a close with more instant establishment of comfort. People I’ve met and different gurus advocate different methods which are easily categorized into the above dichotomy. I think different people have different styles and personally I still do not have a fixed style--I’m still experimenting with degrees of varying success. I wish there were a shortcut but I feel as though what I need right now is to go through numerous dates, go for k-closes as quickly as I can, escalate and of course keep approaching. Does anyone have any other specific tips for things to do that I’m missing out on?

I went out for cold approaches Friday night, Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday. Didn’t arrange any dates because I wanted to properly record videos of closes. I LOST MY DAMN DIGITAL CAMERA AND ended up with a series of poorly recorded videos and audio recordings from my phone. Argh -.-

My recollection of the entire weekend is blended sporadically together so i’ll just mention some of the more notable sets/that I remember.

Friday night—none of the numerous sets i opened outside the club were hooking so i went to the club to run some game. I brought a wingwoman along but she kept disappearing randomly so I was alone in the club for the major part. Opened all the sets I potentially would’ve wanted, and did a little bit of merging forward and backward. What is interesting is that I try to figure potential logistics immediately during the period of small talk—this has good and bad consequences. I’m better able to sense where I can go with this individual or set (tourists or part of a larger group or living in a hostel or working here or meeting friends or in a dancing mood or lost friends or friends occupied by other people) at that point in time. HOWEVER, i think it might come off as too strong/snl seeking to the girls im opening. This is what i do both for day and night game; its part of my calibration. I don’t think i’ll change that aspect of myself for now but we’ll see how that goes. Got a few # closes in the club discreetly because I saw one of the girls I’m kinda set on hooking up with in the club and I didn’t want her to see my business. Afterward when I wanted her for a makeout session she disappeared so -.- By that time the place was becoming a sausage-fest so i decided to peace.

Saturday—went to town to open some sets and get # closes. Got blown off by a couple of sets and hooked onto a tourist hb9! Instant dated her for like 3 hours with multiple location shifts. I used to read so much about bouncing locations to generate the feel of comfort and the illusion of having spent more time with the chick. BUT, I don’t think thats enough, a time bridge is still the most important to build comfort—I think girls count the amount of meetups as opposed to the amount of locations/total time spent like how PUAs do (ex-7 hour rule which i don’t believe in). So, the set was giving me mixed signals—she didn’t respond to my kino escalation in any way (which i’ve come to take as positive from 60yoc) but she did also barely maintained eye contact with me (NOTE: i later realized this was because of a dude she was kind of with and trying to work things out with). I went for a kclose and got rejected, but DIDNT TRY AGAIN!!! ßmistake game-wise. I just didn’t feel the vibe going on at all zz. After thinking about this 3 days later i’m still not very sure what I could have done. Maybe this was a nowhere set that I sort of forced because she was so damn pretty. I don’t know how I could have created a better vibe. I mean, we went on a hour + long walk in a beautiful garden and it was drizzling so we were sharing an umbrella. I didn’t go for handholding though. Yes—I should have made more overt kino moves. I eventually left her to meet some friends and gave her my fb, she hasn’t sent an invite, and i did run into her again on Sunday night on the way home. ON SUNDAY when I accidentally ran into her the vibe was completely different, she was colder and explicitly said “i’m taken”. I think it was really a nowhere set but if i were really good with my frame and game I think I could’ve given her a fantasy fun and exciting experience. I did try to frame her on Saturday but I SHOULD HAVE DONE MORE REFRAMING AND SEXUALIZATION.

I have to work on my instant sexualization lol regardless of those “we just met” objections. OH, ASIDE: after some reflection, I think i’m still quite affected by some shit tests and objections, like my mood is affected even if i don’t consciously respond/consider the negative reactions from girls. It just affects my game and frame to a certain extent. I have to consciously work on inhibiting the effect of these negative feedbacks and not let it affect me AT ALL. On the other hand, I’m becoming more and more natural—i’m doing positive things which can be further analyzed like !@#$!  And most of the sets I open are definitely receptive at first (because of the confidence, body language and peacocking I think).

 
I also tried audio and video recording my approaches with an awful video-taking pua friend on 23/3 and 25/3. The audio sound recordings are great but they cant be combined with the videos because he took like a few minutes and stopped ALL THE TIME. Infuriates me to no end that I have pretty good audio but no video -.- I will be going to check out some video recorders later so hopefully i get one soon and can start getting good videos.

Saturday night notable sets—there was a 2 set with a hb8 28 yo chick whom I opened and was receptive, but after some conversation i decided to open other sets and then come back for this one. THIS WAS A HUGE MISTAKE—I later saw her grinding some other guy and eventually left the club with her friend, the guy, and another guy—POTENTIAL GODDAMN F CLOSE lol which I kinda passed up on because i wanted to hit on numerous sets. I did end up with 7 8 ish numbers which was in tune with my aim for that night—to get girls numbers for a potential club-promoter job. The bar/club I was with also kinda shut down really early (2am, so I decided to go home—I didn’t want to pay $$ to get into another club)

Sunday—opened and #closed two tourist models (one was a hb10.5 and goddamn she was receptive to me—i was the one who ended the convo and left because i wanted to go the beach, was supposed to meet them at a bar that night but wasn’t able to contact her/she flaked). went to a local beach for the first time in my life, it was kinda empty. Got one nice # close from a hb9.5 but she hasn’t responded to my text. There was also a dance off competition at the beach so there were tons of dudes. I think beaches are very good and chill for pickup, its like nightgame MINUS the drunk guys who are so freaking capable of instant kino escalation -.- I’ve got a nice body so i saw girls checking me out more than a few times. But throughout the entire afternoon I only saw one chick i liked and that i # closed. THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH LIKING THE MINORITY RACE—sometimes there just aren’t enough of them around to open at all—Its something I have come to accept even though I hate it—its all about the practice. When i can finally move to a predominantly white country, i’m going to be a monster lol hb 10s EVERYWHERE.

 

ALL IN ALLà a weekend of extensive gaming and approaching, but ZERO, like ZERO success. Thinking about it doesn’t make me too happy, but i’m just moving on and focussing on the process, not the outcome.

I fell ill, so it’s a good time to write about my experiences this past week. No, haven’t gotten any f closes, but its been extremely fun and I feel like I’ve improved (approaching wise and inner game wise).
!@@#$! Sore throat
My approaching/opening has reached a stage where I’m really disaffected by any other interferences/blockages. I’ve successfully opened quite a few mom-daughter sets which turned into instant dates or<5 min #closes. It feels so good to just walk up to the daughter, go direct, then tell the mom I’m gonna take her daughter out on a date. I’ll summarize my dg then ng experiences together because theres been a recurring theme for my ng.
Dg wise, tried something new yesterday, very cool. Was supposed to meet up a PUA friend of mine, but as usual had problems with a synchronized meeting with me having to talk to pretty girls that I saw around. I ended up chilling with a tourist girl who has a bf, and I’m not sure why or how, but within 10 minutes of conversing I was really open about picking up girls and she was gonna be my wingwoman. I had to spend another 20 minutes finding my friend who didn’t come up to us after seeing me with a chick, and the 3 of us sorta chilled together and became her local contact/tour guide. Location bounced and while on the train I approached a few more tourist/white girl sets while trying to bring them into my ‘group’ to chill and adventure together. So, I eventually brought in another girl who agreed to come along on our tourist adventure. All the while when I was with my friend and the 2 girls (who became good friends, why the hell does that always happen??), I was approaching other sets who looked good because I just felt so open about approaching girls and bringing them together on the group date. It was so amazing because I completely exhibited my personality without feeling the need to hide the fact that I cold approach girls off the street. I was also more openly sexual despite having only just known the girls?
NOTE: I could have definitely been more sexual, I feel like I’m still not in touch with my inner sexuality and this inhibits a lot of the sexual adventures I can possibly have. It definitely has to do with the years of social conditioning growing up that I’m now working on to remove—to become truly free.
This eventually ended up into a 3 on 3 date (with all 3 white girls being girls I approached) and we spent the afternoon just chilling at different cafes/places and talking—the last girl was a mom daughter set who I just opened and immediately invited along lol it was that awesome. Yeah no sexual adventures just a very chill afternoon with random tourists all while being very open about pick up. This confidence with approaching is making me become quite sloppy with openers because I’m just lazy—I don’t really calibrate what I say before saying it, and upon consideration there ARE better and more advantageous ways of continuing the thread. Also, after opening for like 1 minute I just go alpha, keep quiet and expect the set to continue the conversation. I remember one set like that where they tried to say “we have to go now” because I was just looking at them and I responded with “no, stay here for a bit” and they did—instant compliance lol. I feel like I need to balance being alpha and think about the opening and follow up logistics before opening rather than just winging it—there are also some NEW bad habits that my pua friends are pointing out lol like weird hand movements.

Ng wise I’ve been trying out being a club promoter—theres been no guaranteed physical $ yet, its supposed to be $5 per chick I bring into a club but I’ve yet to receive any money because its supposed to be a monthly payment. WELL, I feel a little like I’m abusing my opening skills for promoting purposes like I open a set, if it blows up I immediately go into promoter mode and most of the time I still get a # close for promoting purposes. I’m also approaching sets I don’t want, AKA ASIAN sets, just for promoting purposes lol. The social proof is pretty sick at the club when I bring in a multitude of girls to the promoters table but honestly, I’m beginning to think its not worth it after the fiasco last night where the girls had to wait 2 hours in the club for my promoter ‘buddies’ to open their bottles and got REALLY REALLY PISSED AT ME. That wasn’t cool; neither was the continuously having to queue up in the fking congested guestlist line multiple times, sweated so much and then went into the freaking cold club—cool way to fall ill—hence my current shitty sickly state. I’m also beginning to mass text (for promoting purposes) and its actually pretty fun watching the replies come in troves.

I have to post about the incidents in the past 4-5 hours before I forget--its been a massive mindfuck.

I'm going to focus on a set i was with--hbtiny. I opened her and found out that we had a mutual friend and she immediately clicked more (why is it that girls always find having a mutual friend such a difference in their openness -.-) AND, why do white girls keep asian guys IN SINGAPORE ARE ALWAYS APPROACHING THEM. No seriously its insane only 2/16 of the puas i know here hit on white girls, and i'm with them most of the time. who the hell is approaching all these white girls!?

Anyway, back to hbtiny. We chilled for a bit, location bounced her twice, met up with a wing of mine, chatted for another 20 mins. She wanted to go to a further away cinema to watch a french film, so I eventually showed her the direction and left. I was thinking whether I wanted to join her but decided against it at first -.- BIG MISTAKE, I SHOULD HAVE AND I REGRETTED THIS LATER AND TRIED TO RUSH TO THE CINEMA. On the way, a bird shat on my pants, wtf.

At the cinema, i got a ticket on the constant urging on by my wing $8.50, and rushed to the cinema (the movie just started). The entire process caused quite severe tension and self-doubt. I went in once, walked up and down the aisles and looked for her, couldnt really see her so I walked out. Somehow, standing and walking around in a cinema is really daunting (first time). I went out and my wing told me I should try go back in and check again, slowly, because the girl really seemed to want to watch the film and its an M18 french film so !!!!

Went in a second time, super fucking self conscious but still slowly and methodologically looked at every seat, every aisle, no she wasnt there. Thought she might be trying to hide because shes the kind of really shy girl to people she doesnt know. Didnt manage to see her so i went out again. At this point i was feeling those nerves congealing and coursing all over my bowel area and like freaking EXPANDING. OBviously everyone inside gave me weird wtf looks beccause i was just staring at people and walking up and down with the movie to my back.

No, couldnt see her. So, i went back out and told my wing, who was like did you shout her name? ... Of course i didnt i was massively pussified and everyone in the cinema legit was staring at me. When i kept walking in and out of the cinema the counter girl was giving me weirdass looks too. The bunch of congealed nerves felt like it was xploding in my bowels and i was so goddamn nervous and becoming instate that i was speaking really loudly. I went "SLAP ME", which he promptly did and I went in a third time but stayed at the entrance and whisper-shouted "ANNA", "OEI COME HERE" accompanied with random frantic overhead hand swinging movements. No reply but now the ENTIRE cinema was staring at me AND some folks were giggling.

Whoops I peaced the shit out of the cinema lol and went downstairs. I was so instate that I was trying to (hopefully) find the girl who i was waiting for or find ANOTHER girl to go to that show with me since i already got the ticket. Ran into this gorgeous hb9 who i immediately opened and she was like "im looking for the toilet" "im looking for the toilet, im here with a friend" I showed her the toilet and was -- I have to get this girl she is so !@#!ing hot. Went to look at her "friend" and holyshit he was a fucking good looking spanish dude (she was spanish) lol! When she came out I just stared her down --"is that your boyfriend?"

"no" blabalbalbala"
"look I think you're really cute and we have to get coffee sometime" with slow pronunciation and staring at her all the way.
-facebook closed but i think she'll be flakey, like i didnt even get around to introducing myself I think there were 3 lines passed between us.
