It's a small report that went no where but if someone would be willing to help critique me:

Pair of girls 7&6... practice gents, practice. They were, in fact, the hottest in the club (slim pickings indeed) so of course, asked to dance by every man with enough cojones to try... and attempt-grinded on by twice that number. This is relayed to me by some friends who have been at the club for a bit, watching it all unfold, as I arrive. I dance, do my best to have some fun, get some endorphins flowing. After awhile, I approach with a wing. At this point the place is about to close (I came in late). My goal is to simply dance with them, end the night on a high note. I lean in and say: "You guys came here to have fun, right?" *nod* "It looks like you're bored out of your mind" *negative headshake* (failed at yes-chain) "No? Well, I know I would be bored sitting around. In fact I was just over there sitting and was bored as hell. The place is about to close, I recommend dancing for a bit." I walk away, take off my jacket and start dancing with my silent wingman who I've all but forgot was there.

...They actually get up and walk halfway to the dancefloor. 7's dancing a little, trying to urge 6 on. I try to get my wing to loosen a little, show him how to dance. He stiffly shuffles. I keep urging him, but I fail. He stands there awkwardly, hands in pockets. I get off the dancefloor to get my other friend who's sitting down, hoping to grab him, then hook the girls (who are nearby). He refuses to budge. I get pissed off and leave, completely ignoring the two girls, and rewarding their compliance with feigned obliviousness (kicked myself when I realize this not 2 mins later).

At the time, I blamed my wings. Easy to shift blame off yourself and onto others.

Body Language: I approached from the side slightly at an angle, but I'm certain it was obvious they were my intended destination. Straight away I talk to 7... completely ignore 6 (D'oh!) then when they come near the dancefloor, merely a light suggestion away, I pass by them on 2 different occasions, completely ignoring them and back turned towards them. At this point, you have perfect justification for thinking I'm scared of women. Am I hopeless? God, I hope not.

Sincerely thanks in advance for any critiques!
