So I just opened a four set. I went in as soon as the HB9 turned and smiled while I was laughing and talking with my friend across the room. I have met two of the people in the set previously, but I really didn't know them to well.
I opened with "hey Ruben long time no see. My sister didn't come today and she sent her hellos"
Ruben replies: " oh cool blah blah.."
Me: so who are your friends?
Ruben: they are my sisters friends.
Me: cool ( start talking general chit chat, and they are intrigued in my new conversation. I saw an open chair and sat down without permission to asset dominance and confidence. Next I ran the waitress added me one Facebook routine and the laughed an smiled. I later learned the target was a lesbian with the other girl, but she kept vining me.
Me: you two are the cutest lesbian couple I've seen in the last ten minutes..
hB: really!?
Me: nope. Haha your the only lesbian couple I've seen.
HB: laugh.
(And his where it all went wrong)
I continued with the small chat talking to everyone not just the HB. After the breakdown of my approach I realized I should of asked the HB to help me pick out a gift for my sister's birthday because they had similar styles. This would have isolated her from her lesbian girlfriend. Then one on one I could of got a daytime kiss or number close. Do you guys think that isolation technique would have worked? It seems solid to me.
