| So I'm sitting with a buddy killing time outside a restaurant, when some girl in her
early 20s comes by and apprently looks at me (I had my back to her)
I'm also going to mention that she was the only 20 year old in a group of about 6 55+ year olds(family I presume) so I know this was a hard set to break.
I eventually catch her glimpsing from the inside at me, and wait for them to sit down while waiting for their food before I can bust a move.
(un)surprisingly as they're walking back and sit on a table adjacent to mine, I watch her go out of her way to sit w/ her back to me (good sign?) and carry on.
I eventually get up and go around them a bit so as to approach at an angle, and ask them if they know (insert random latin name here, I'm in Miami, heh) and proceed to tell them they look like they could be his family and her his sister.
I catch her taking a glimpse at me and smiling shyly as I'm talking with her family, directing them, not her.
I politely excuse myself (apparently they didnt know him, lol) and go back to my table.
Meanwhile they wait more for their food and eat, and when they get up to leave I feigned having to throw something away(they were by a trash can) and came out with
"oops, I think you dropped something." and handed her a note, which read:
"I'f I wasnt gay, I'd totally get your number... --->"
and on the back side:
"P.S: I'm not gay, here's my numberL xxx-xxx-xxxx, text me."
So far no text. (2 hours ago)
How'd I do? Any criticisms? Improvement?
Personally I think I should have followed up at the first interaction, but I didnt and still don't know how.
