Not a fantastic evening.

Went solo to Changkat Bukit Bintang, which is this entire street of pubs and bars.

I went into a bar that was full of people, but within 3 minutes of sitting down and getting my beer, people started shuffling out group by group until there were only two or three groups of old men.

The big mistake: going into one of these bars on a weekday. Instead, I spent the time I had there talking with the bartenders, basically building my network for the next time I go there. One of the bartenders assured me that the place is full on both floors on Friday and Saturday nights.

They were even cool enough to give me a discount for the two beers I had. I think I'll go there this weekend.
