| So today I decided to work on my AA by getting shot down as much as possible. Suprisangly, It didn't go so well! I wanted to approach guys and girls . It didn't matter I need to get over my AA with people. So My town is so boring that the only place I could do this is in Wal-Mart and Target. So I went into wal-mart. I saw cute girls but I couldn't get my self to approach. So I was getting kinda irritated with my self. Like WTF , My goal is to get regected. Why am I scared?
Approach #1 - Guy
So anyway I chatted up some guy about some tire repair kits. I thought it would be like a boring convo. Within 2 minutes using my body language and voice and tone that ive learned over this month. I couldn't get him to stop talking. I was using open end questions. Pausing, Also Using my hands to signal what I'm talking about. So Anyways I couldn't get him away from me after that. I told him thank you for the info, But I gotta go like three times. Now I know how girls feel when a guy hovers over them.
Lesson: Don't hover, when disinterest is shown bail. When a girl says she gotta go let her go. This guy made me feel trapped. Dont do that!
Approach #2 - HB8 (Asian Body, Gorgeous Face, With a Banging Booty!)
So I spotted this girl when I first got into wal-mart but didn't know how to approach. I went shopping for a lil bit. I think this affected the convo also. In my hand I had a note pad, Toothbrush, Tanktops. I went over to the lotion isle. She was kneeling down reading something on a bottle. I stood there looking all confused at the lotions. Then I stepped closer to her and was like "let me get your opinion on some lotion". She looked up at me stood up and was like sure. She looked at what was in my hand. And I'm guessing she thought I was a clean freak. So this kinda helped with why I was approaching her, It just looked like I'm a clean freak and I'm not trying to hit on her. (Pre-selction and also DHV)With my hands I signaled that we need to go over there. And I started walking over there. She followed me. I was like I need something for my face and hands for men. She pointed out some lotions. At this time I was asking questions like. "Why do you prefer this one over this one". We got into the convo I negged her that she knows to much about lotion, and that she should work at Wal-Mart. She giggled. Then I asked her what lotion she uses. She said she uses some olay crap. I was like where is that one. She said its on the other isle. She started walking towards the other isle. I followed. When we got there she was like "don't judge I use this one".It was some age resistant cream, To help you look young. I picked up the bottle looked at it and said " Is that why your face is so pretty" she said awww thank you and giggled. Then I said " But I'm not getting it, I don't trust you yet". She laughed more. After that we built up some rapport. She was a tourist and was leaving in 4 days. I was like cool. Let me take you out for coffee before you leave. Whats your number? I saw her hesitate and think for a second. She said something I didn't understand. Then said something else trying to explain her self. Then she was about to get her cell phone out. Then Finally she was like " I would but I have a bf". At this point I knew it was a done deal. I just wanted to see how far I could push it. I said " He can come too if he wants". She giggled more, At this point I turn around slightly And said it was nice talking to you, and thank you for your help. She said it was nice to meet you. Then we parted.
Lesson: I noticed I was leaning in a little. I corrected it towards the end. But I believe that was the cause why this approach failed. Anyone know why she was so confused to give or not give me her number? She looked like she wanted to but then didnt?
Approach #3 Guy.
I was in target now. I was in the shampoo isle. I was smelling the shampoo's and there was a guy there. (I'm not gay but I can tell when a Guy looks good and gets chicks) So I asked him if it smells good. We got into the convo he suggested some shampoo that he been using for a long time. Peppermint. He said chicks dig it. Turned out he was a personal trainer. Told me to come to the gym, He'll give me a free day pass. I was like hell yea. HE also mentioned that his girlfriend loves that shampoo, so I know he wasn't gay.
Lesson: Be Friendly. Its not gay to ask another guys opinion.
On the way out noticed a two set looking at me, HB7 and HB8. Didn't approach Fail!
I'm only half way threw my day. I'm going out again. Ill let you guys know if anything happens tonight!
