weird thing happened today. I sarged this HB6 on OkC and set up a date. something about her gave me the hots - I wanted to check in real life (plus I am in a "let's pickup" mood to get myself fully over J).
she is definitely interested: she texts me before 8am today to confirm we are going to meet.. I go look at her profile for some details and casually text her I like a red shirt she has in one of the photos. she texts back if that means she should wear it or a nerdy shirt would be just as fine. my reply is along the lines of: "maybe a slight hint but whatever"
she wears the red shirt - I take it as an IOI
we meet in my downtown, hang out, get a beer at a bar and go sit outside (weather is nice in the Bay Area!)
I neg and confirm her, sort of funny Push-Pull.
I played a variation of the hand-reading routine where I told her I had no clue what I was doing, but I made it funny. Still perfect as kino.
I put lots of kino in my game, it just comes natural and the one time I did not do it things did not work well. So now kino is second nature. I escalate it to holding her hands, and she starts rubbing her finger on my hand, IOI I guess.
Lots of fun and kino. Then I go for the kiss, confident it will happen. I tell her "look at me - what do you see?"
She: *looks at me* "I don't know"
Me: "Look closer" *approaches*
She: "Still don't know"
Me: *getting even closer - it's now or never* "There's not much closer than that"
She slightly retreats, then understands where this is going, and lets it happen.
We kiss for a while. I move my chair closer to hers. Her leg is on mine. Hand in hand all the time. More kissing. She plays a silly prank on me and I swear I will get my revenge. She pretends to be scared and that does not want to see it. Then she is like "ok what is this revenge?" and that is I kiss her neck. She loves it, of course.
Long story short, I pay the beers (I pay on a first date - what happens on other dates depends on the dynamics between me and her, but first date is my turn) and tell her I wanna show her my "little cutie blue car" and I take her to the parking lot, get her into the car and then tell her if she wants to come home to look at my two laptops and listen to my country's local music. She agrees, but she wants to be driven to the Caltrain station in half an hour. Plus, she says "my pants want to stay on". There I play funny hard to get "never said I want to take them off - they're cool and I am not that easy to get. plus, my pants wanna stay on too"
So I take her home. She shows me a funny video on YouTube. I bring her on the couch, but she is "afraid I will lay her down". I say I won't and sit on an end of the couch and have her sit on the opposite end of it. Some music from my home country is on.
Of course we quickly end up making out again. I try to playfully reach for her tits a few times. She doesn't let that happen. Maybe I tried too much, I am not sure. I made it look like a game: I try to touch you try to stop me, let's see who wins. Which she seemed to be ok with since she was kissing me and biting my neck.

The time available quickly expires, and I drive her back. I don't talk much since I am focusing on traffic. She asks me if I am OK, and I say "yes but I would be better with a kiss" and kiss her. We kiss a little bit more and then she is off to take her train.
After like 20 minutes I text her "I had a great time! Let's do it again soon!"
Her text back: "Sorry, . But I'd rather not do that again. I'm sure someone else will appreciate you more than me. Hope you have a good evening."

What Only thing I could reply to this was "Confused.". It is probably an AFC reply, just don't care. I will most probably never see her again.. but I truly am Confused. I am not sure what and when went wrong and would totally love to know. I mean, she did put up some token resistance to the make out on the sofa, but almost every girl does that, and she did not just stand up and firmly demand to be taken back to the train station (to which I would have definitely complied on the spot)!
Any hints there?

BTW, I now know I was right. She would totally make me go wild in bed.. she speaks French! French turns me on!

UPDATE: I got a reply back from HB6

"I didn't feel comfortable being in your apartment with you today. And I didn't like it how you were being so mysterious. I'd much rather be upfront about everything. Hence, I'd rather not stick around with you anymore."

Any good non-AFC replies to this? I am not going to go crazy over this, but if the situation is easy to salvage I would like to do so.

This is meant to convey I am not her average AFC who got a k-close and is now desperate to get more. might get some parts moving in her brain. if not, well...

lessons learned:

(a) logical thinking does not apply to girls: she agreed to come home, and I got her back to the Caltrain at the exact time she wanted me to, no forcing.. persuasion but no forcing ; I have acted somewhat mysterious but still whatever question she asked during the date I answered it, and she was laughing the whole time
(b) never push too hard. I thought I had gotten this right with S. (she was unsure whether we should have sex on the second date.. I got her so horny I was 100% satisfied she would come back for more, but in the end told her to just go home and that we had a lifetime to have sex - needless to say she came back for more, more than once..). I will work more on knowing when to stop pushing and just wait for the next date

good stuff:

(a) the easy k-close. this pattern is becoming second nature - get her comfortable, make her laugh a lot, kino kino more kino then find any excuse to get physically closer and closer, and just make it happen
(b) the funny hand-reading. I will use it again on my next two targets
