| Hi guys, I'm new to these forums and have my first ever field report to write on an interesting night where I really didn't expect anything to happen.
First off, I was expecting just a night with the boys, we played basketball for hours and I never had a chance to shower. We decided to go to the local pub for some food and to watch sports. One of our friends showed up late and told us that a few girls that we are all pretty good friends with were coming. All of the girls have boyfriends but are a little loose and have kind of had things with many of the guys.
I had had a bit of a confidence boost at the start of the day, opening sets on facebook with a few girls I met at university. Obviously nothing serious, but the conversations flowed really well and I felt comfortable. It's definitely a step in the right direction for me because in the past I had been scared to even talk to good looking girls I somewhat knew online.
Now, to my night. It started pretty basic with the girls, I was just watching TV and talking to my buddy and his girlfriend. Our conversations were great and I kept her (buddy's girlfriend) laughing all night (something I'm not great at). After a few trips to the patio with my target and her friend, I managed to keep the conversation interesting and light and kept them laughing. I was trying to think of a perfect neg to throw in, and eventually it came. My buddy accidentally called me by the name of my target, and my reaction to everyone was like "do I look like her really?" and I pretended that I had cleavage and big breasts (my action got everyone laughing). We all decided to head down to a club just down the street and as we were walking I heard my target and my friend talking about how she hates her boyfriend and that she wants to break up with him. Once inside the bar, I confronted my target about the situation and she said to me that the story was only between her and all of my friends (which I took as a great sign). Inside the bar, she was wandering around just talking to friends she saw, and I purposely opened a set infront of her. The set's response to my opener wasn't great, but the point is I actually opened (for once) and did it right in front of my target! I saw a bit of a doggy fish bowl. I ended up opening 2 other sets, one of which I got a very snarky response. Next time I saw her, I threw another neg at her saying "I must admit I really like your outfit tonight, I can tell you were planning to cover up" and pointed at her breasts. She just laughed and responded well. When she was leaving, she made a point to come up and dance around playfully with me. My friends were saying all night that she wanted me bad, and I must admit that was the tightest I've felt my game in a long long time.
Point is, no I did not get any kind of a close (I already have her number) but it's definitely a step in the right direction! Also, I wasn't dressed to impress nor was I in shape to be around females, but my game was obviously good enough to get her wanting more. She told me that she will let me know next time she is going out.
Is my best way to work this to just play a little hard to get and ignore it, or work on some text game?
