Was out the other night with a chick from work....average looking lass with NO game and all the self righteous indignations of your general Perth females.....

She heads to the toilet and while I playfully attempt to oscillate on my chair that clearly needs some WD40 and TLC..... I spot a now lone ranger across the room on his chair ......the same chair as mine .....I gesture to him if he can make his turn....being a half cut local(in other words not the brightest) he decides its a great opener and strolls on over.....

I open with the usual fluff.... as all the locals do he asks what I do (Job) My GF comes back into the picture....I have mentioned this routine to her once so she clicks on to my yarning....

I spin to him the following...

"You know what a space ship looks like yeah?"

"Yeah ..."

"You know how the very nose of it is black?...."

"Yeah..."

"Yeah well I paint that ....Oh and my friend Miss K... She does the aerodynamics.....She designs the wings, that's how we know each other... we work out at the *&^ O*&^ Observatory ....."

He turns to Miss K in disbelief as if to confirm or deny my statement.....Lucky she's herd this yarn before.

"Yeah for NASA" She states ....

You think that the local would now click since we are in Australia and NASA is an American organisation but sadly no.....

The conversation continues and I give him my number ...(Mainly because I give him points for approaching) and he calls ....I give him an easy let down.....and explanation 'It's not him its me'.... Hopefully he will have more confidence in his future endeavours ...... Love that space ship line (Not that I am generally in favour of lying) But all harmless fun!
