The FR isn't all that interesting here, I just want input on how most of the guys handle standard spots like this one.

Out at a bar, hitting on two girls with a friend. It wasn't doing particularly great with my girl, running "B game" pretty much, I was getting laughs and some compliance but not all that much attraction at that time. Thats besides the point, as with a bit of time I should have been able to get somewhere.

Then the girl my friend is hitting on (the less hot of the two, but the "alpha girl" between them) suggests they go have a smoke outside. I don't smoke much, and it was pretty cold outside so I just stayed with my guy friends inside.

Sure enough the girls run into a guy friend of theirs and I lose a bunch of ground on the set (I ended up losing all attraction with the girl pretty fast from running poor game).

What the standard in spots like these, go with the girls outside or is there a clever way around those kind of situations?

If you're working the whole room then you just open a different set.

#1 rule anytime- never, ever let the girl control the contact. If she says I'll call you back in 15 mins, say you'll actually call her back in a 1/2 hour. If she's going to the bathroom and will be back in 5, say you'll dance with some other girls and see her in an hour.

If they're asking you if you want to come outside with them, then they're making you feel welcome. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. But you can't be sitting around on the outside of a set while some guy friend is talking to them.(harder than it sounds).

You're either going to a different set or you're engaging the guy in a 3 way conversation. Oh, but don't for the love of God let the girl fall out of the conversation. You gotta keep everyone engaged somehow. If you can, bro around with the guy though, that'll buy you street cred with the girl.
