This will be my first field report since i joined the forums about a week ago
So yesterday on the 23rd i went out Sarging and went to quite a popular Bar/club when i got there it took me forever to open a set almost an hour during that time i made friends with a group of guys and also met some friends from my university i only opened 3 sets in the space of an hour due to AA but I'm getting more confident.
First set:failure
i was standing talking to my friend near a door when this HB 8.5 was walking past and stood next too me for a few seconds i wanted to open but most of my canned openers were more suited to targets across from the room to me so she walked away, about five minutes later me and my friends decided to go near the dance floor as we walked there i saw that same HB8.5 about to take a seat facing away from me so i decided screw AA and just went up to her and said
Me: Hey, theres something about you that made me want to come meet you
Her: (smiling happily) really??
Me: i'm not sure what it is .. ahh yeah its your energy
Her: thanks, whats your name?
Me: Name, so tell me something about yourself?
Her: Name (she said it rhymes with banana), Nursing Student, 25, from Libya,
Me: ohh thats an awesome nickname,
Me: i have to get back to my friends in a sec
Her: well i'm waiting for my BF
Me: what is his name
Her:(quickly) Andrew
Me: ohh well i wont bother asking for your number then
Her: have a good night
ps. i saw her in the club like 20 mins later she was with a female friend she said hi but i didn't acknowledge her
Set 2: failure
so i was at the dancefloor for like 10 minutes with a few friends of mine when i saw this HB8 standing infront of the bar she had an emotionally cold face and had just shrugged of attempts by a set of 2 guys, i had seen her like an hour before but i had too much AA, i waited like 10-15 seconds thinking what to say (soo much for the 3 second rule) and approached smiling
Me: what were you thinking when you wore that? (expecting bad response)
Her: (her face literally lit up, it was a wtf? moment for me) i'm not sure
Me: you look adorable in it, i had to come and meet you as you seemed like you were on a downer
Her: ohh well i'm looking for my BF (she seemed lost btw)
Me:what is his name?
Her: no idea what she said, but she looked like she was lying
Me: well enjoy your night
ps. saw her with a guy who she seemed to have rapport with her might be her BF
Successful Set
was in a group of friends when i noticed a HB 7.5 in a two set and really showcased what i had learnt from past failed sets.
Me: hey theres something really striking about you
Her: (smiling ) yeah?
Me: you have an energy about your self
Her: thanks, sorry i've lost my voice (she sounded bad)
Me: you would suck as a telemarketer (she laughed), introduce me to your friend
Her: this is blah blah
Me: (noticing accent) where you guys from?
Her/Friend: Germany, whats your name?
Me: Name.. how long you been here? me and my friends are gonna go to another club real soon
Her: 7 months were going back in 3-4 months
Me: forever?
Her: might be
Me: give me your number so we can hang out? (she gives me no.) i tell her i'll save her as cool german chick (she laughs), i gotta go now see you guys later (gave both a hug)
this convo was for around 5 minutes so i kinda cut it short to the key stuff i said, One thing that i made a conscious effort of doing is maintain eye contact and using subtle kino escalation
P.S. when i got home i sent her a text and told her it was me from the club and to save my number and made a playful joke about her not being able to talk on the phone because she lost her voice.
Hope that wasn't too boring too read i'd love some feedback and hints as how to proceed with phone game
