This thread is only meant to get inspiration for cold approaching. I have read many threads about Warm approaching and Cold approaching.. And I'm just wondering if Cold approaching works fine. So if you people have tried a cold approach in a nightclub, could you mention it here please?

LOL cold approach works, if not then wtf is pick up for! Warm approach, as in you get an IOI before approaching usually some eye contact will be easier but go and cold approach anyway

walk up to random girls in the club, tap tap on the shoulder, 'hey, you look like cool, interesting, funny people'.........continue on with funny shit and talk almost non stop until it hook (hey start laughing)

pick up is pretty much all based on cold aproach, all the pick up tech. and methods where devopled using cold approach, thus they are tailored to cold approach primarily (cold approach here is defined as someone you have never met)

I can't believe there is even a debate on this. Always go for the best option. Usually that is a warm approach but sometimes it has to be a cold approach.

Can you get laid blindly cold approaching? Yes, of course. It's called the Law of Averages. Every guy has a "golden ratio" of how many women out of a random sampling he would have to put the mack on before one of them fucks him. For some guys its 1 in 10. For others, its 1 in 50. For others, 1 in 100, and so on. The point is, you can cold approach without any sort of strategy other than to talk to any girl who is meets your physical standards and eventually you will hit your ratio and get laid.

Is this the ideal strategy and the best option? In my opinion, no, of course not. Why? Because instead of going through a "Random Sampling" of girls as is the case above, you can go through a "Selected Sampling." This would be girls who give you some sort of invitation like open body language/a smile/eye contact, girls in a venue that have something in common with you (I hit on girls while I surf all the time, we have a shared interest, so I can assume almost any girl will be "warm"), or girls who in general are in more "approachable" situations, such as the girl alone in the club who is looking around. She is way "warmer" than the chick who is completely engaged with the 3-4 girls and guys that she is in a big circle with.

Let's look at xZerox's example (not picking on you btw bro, just keeping this focused) of a cold approach on a girl at the club, where you tap her on the shoulder from behind. Now, if that is a successful pick up, then yes, cold approached worked there but only because you reached your "golden ratio." This girl was already into you and was open to meeting a stranger and therefore opened quite nicely off the cold approach...it is most definitely the case that this girl would have been a "warm approach" if a little patience was exercised. Instead of approaching several sets before getting to her, if you had just posted up on the bar and looked for signals, that girl probably would have ended up noticing you anyways since she is receptive to strangers and is therefore "scoping the scene" and she would have given you a pretty reliable signal about it. Then you would have gone 1 for 1, instead of 1 for 7 or whatever.

I suppose the point I am trying to make is that any girl who is successfully picked up through cold approach would most likely have been a warm approach if you would have just allowed the signals to materialize. And if she never specifically noticed you, she will be doing other things that indicate she's receptive to being approached. For that reason, the only time I can ever recommend a complete cold approach is in a "fleeting" moment, such as you pass her on the street or she is getting in her car about to leave the area, etc... in these cases (which are mostly day game because in a nightclub, you will be in the same proximity as the girl for at least a few minutes) she will be gone before she can notice you, so cold approach is your only and best option. I always go with the best option. Rarely is that blind cold approaching.
