So i go to a college in california and yesterday i decided to wear a white cowboy hat that i saw at a costume store that my friends said looked good on me. So i go with my friends, one of which is wearing a panda hat and we decide to test the theory of "peacocking" by going down the weekend party street. As we began walking through the street we received compliments left and right from girls and guys, some drunk. And even though i was too nervous to appraoch people i got approached because of my hat. In one instance a girl came up to me said she liked my hat and put it on her, i teased that it looked better on me and after talking she tried to take it, she was kinda drunk i got it back after my panda friend got his back from the girl he was talking to. I felt that I could have approached and went somewhere in many different situations but im not over that obstacle yet. My friend was able to make a few approaches though. For tonight me and my friends are having a challenge of who could approach more, we/ll see how it goes.
