I was out with a friend last night at a bar celebrating his girlfriend's room ate's birthday. He and his girlfriend were to only people I knew at the bar. I just threw on some jeans and my purple button down that I left open to the shirt. Grabbed some drinks with my buddy and he led me to the group. There were about 5 or 6 HB7/8s, and it was easy as pie to open since we all knew someone there. I started talking to the birthday girl who was super friendly and touchy. I thought she might be giving some IOIs but mid conversation she pointed to a guy sitting in a chair and said he was dating him. No big deal, I moved on and floated between people. I ended up at a group of three girls and I was trying to flirt with this blonde girl. It was going well. One of the other girls broke off from us and went to speak to other people. What happened next took me by surprise. I looked over to see her speaking with my buddy and I catch her looking at me. I smiled. Then she walks straight up to me and tells me she's leaving. I said "Oh you're taking off?" And then she said "Take out your phone." I took it out and she tells me "I'm going to give you my number, and I want you to call me." Needless to say I felt pretty fucking good.

I wasn't even trying to go after this girl. In fact I wasn't even trying to sarge that hard on anyone that night, just a little flirting and socializing. Something I did really turned this girl on that I had barely spoken to.

So... what happened? Does anyone have any thoughts? I'd like to break this down but I really don't know what I did haha.
