Right need some guidance with my game only been doing it a week but throwing myself in at the deep end. This is my first field report from last night, it was not successful to add that now and I want to know where I went wrong, all criticisms welcome. I don't have AA, I just never knew how to approach until now, I've had successful approaches before with number closes, but really want to break this one down.

I was in a small intimate club, there was a 3 set sitting at the entrance booth. I didn't approach until about 20 minutes. But never gave them long glares or anything. I approached at an angle, not direct and only had to lean down to talk and had a table to contend with. They were on a booth with loads of space but I didn't sit down until I thought it was a successful open with social approval. I tried to keep it fairly natural game, but as I'm still learning did have to use some routines. The set was of 1 blonde HB7 and 2 brunettes HB6 and HB8, the blonde was my target but then switched to one of the brunettes.

Me: Hey, do you know any good bars or clubs around here? to HB6.
HB6: yeah there's a good club just down the road called Envy, we're going later.
Me: Cool, how do you get there, me and my friends are leaving in a minute, we need somewhere good to go.
HB6: You go "Basic directions"
Me: thanks, any idea what time it closes?
HB6: Erm, probably about 4, I'm not sure.
Me: are all you guys from around here then? to HB7 (or blonde)
HB7: Yeah we are pointing to HB6.
HB8: I'm from Bournemouth (was about to drop a neg but got interrupted)
HB7: You can sit down if you want.
Me: thanks (So I sat next to HB8)
HB8: where are you from?
Me: Told her my local area
HB8: yeah i know that.
HB7: Is that your friend over there? (Who wanted to see me in action) Call him over. So I waved him over.
Any way here I fluffed with HB8 for a couple of minutes asked what she did etc. so I could tell her I'm a psychology student, she was interested, so I told her the routine from the game about C shaped vs U shaped smiles. She wasn't as hooked by that as I hoped, as she turned to HB7 and said "apparently I have a C shaped smile." At this point I wasn't sure if she was mocking me or not, I should have negged. But I laughed it off. Anyway the other 2 walked off so I didn't have to isolate HB8, they did it for me! But I was left with my friend there on the other side. And then tried an ESP thing, I did my routine which is think of number between 1-10, (I call that x) add and take away a few numbers I always do +10,+5,-2,+3, -x, basic algebra but always works. She was impressed by that, even though she got it wrong! so I got in a few negs. All the way through this I was trying to intiate some kino, but I was using my elbow to push her away. After this I was put off because they had 2 guys come to meet them, she introduced me to them. I fluffed a little more and said "let me know when you're leaving so we can come to that club with you guys." After this she left to the bar/find friends, so I sat there for a minute with my friend and then went back to our group. I didn't try and number close because I didn't get enough IOIs from her.

Now I've already started breaking this down myself, but outside input would be helpful I've tried to reconstruct this the best I can.

Things I got from this, I opened well and got social approval, I fluffed well and even isolated the target. Things I didn't do well, DHV-ing, the kino elbow probably should have been a hand and I perhaps did it too much (everytime I playfully negged), I didn't get enough IOIs from her and I allowed her to walk off and I was left there, also I managed to lower my value by asking to go with them to the club. Anything else I've missed and pointers of what I should have done maybe said?
