k so first off i dont know if this should be here or in another part of the forum, if so go right ahead and move it

but anyway i approached a few sets the other night. and it didnt go as well as i would have liked

the first one was a 2 set at this bar i was at, they were a seat away from me to my left, so i try asking them if i could get their opinion on something

no response, guess i wasnt loud enough

walk over to them and ask some stupid opener that popped into my head and they couldnt have been colder. ouch

whatever. so head up the street to this other bar/club that a friend of mine bartends at. place is packed because it was freezing in chicago and who doesnt want to drink on a friday? anyway so this place has a dance floor, or rather they make room for one after a certain time. place is loud, the kind of loud where you have to be literally 3 inches next to someone to hear them.

go up to a mix 3 set ( 2 girls one dude who is clearly just a friend) open, and the girls look at me, then to each other and say (i cant hear him)

SO! guess what i need to work on folks!

Also, i feel like asking girls who would win in a fight, backstreet boys or n'sync is kinda silly. do people still use opinion openers anymore?
