it was a so so night last night. i drove a group of friends over an hour to attend a nightclub that was opening up just for new years. and when i drive(especially long distances) i tend to think more than i talk because i'm concentrating rather than talking an being social. well we get to the club and i see some other friends there too. I chug an energy drink to get myself to liven up a bit. it's cold as hell outside in line.

we get inside and stand on the lookout over the dance floor. total sausage fest so i wait a while for more people to get into the club. finally lots of people form a circle while these two people have a dance off but no girl and guy were actually dancing with each other. then my friend thats a girl goes out to the middle of the dance floor and she starts dancing. she looks at me and i jump out there and start dancing with her. it was fun and after about a minute my social rep in the club went through the roof and everywhere i walked through the club somebody said hey weren't you the kid that started the dancing? they would give me a high five or a daps. but i was so stuck in my head focusing on well.. it really isnt as big of a deal that everyone thinks because it was a friend not a random girl and i was thinking about how cold it was and i kept getting stuck in my head.

so i walk up to the bar and get another energy drink and talk to a couple people at the bar about new years. my legs are still stiff from driving and it being cold and im struggling to relax. well i end up forcing myself out to the floor to dance with a few people and then still not satisfied my friend pulls out a small pocket sized bottle of jack and we walk to the bathroom and take two shots worth and just walk out of the bathroom. for some reason something worked because earlier i was eyeing a girl in the cage dancing by herself and she starts walking towards us to the bar. and im talking to my friend and all the sudden i felt so upset and was like fuck it and i grabbed her by the hand in the middle of my conversation with a guy friend and made out with her then let go and then turn away from her to continue with my friend and my friends face was just speechless. wide open. like he was unsure what just happened because he knows that i'm the neurotic, shy, random kid. and ever since then ive been feeling pretty good.
